“Palmy Daze” is part of the Pastory Condo Complex in Cruz Bay. Includes community pool, AC both bedrooms, parking, & views from private deck. Includes linens, towels, & beach chairs. Fully stocked kitchen with fridge, coffee maker, dishes, microwave, stove, and oven, etc. We also provide snorkel fins, and travel cooler.

Condo overlooks our saltwater pool and beautiful Cruz Bay. You can also see St. Thomas from our spacious deck. Our bedrooms have AC units and the rest of the house has plenty of windows and fans to keep the island breezes flowing. We have a property manager who lives in the next building over to help with any needs during your stay. We have a coin-operated washer and dryer in the complex that is available 24/7.

Our Property Manager will typically be able to pick you up at the ferry with your vehicle. All guests text them with flight plans before their stay to coordinate pick up from the ferry dock.

I am available 24-7 through phone or text. Same with our property manager.

Pastory Condo Complex is 7 minute drive from Cruz Bay. The Caneel Hiking Trail is also accessible from the condos.

The highlight of this condo is the view, very beautiful views all around. Dena, the PM, picked us up from the ferry so that was a bonus. She was very communicative and stayed on top of things. She was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we experienced a terrible power outage so we had no power for 90% of our short stay so that was very uncomfortable, but that was not in anyone’s control. The location from the downtown area is close 5-7 min drive, the property is tucked away up in the hill, private and secluded, yet easy to navigate, it’s hilly, but they provide a car so that was super helpful. The condo itself is clean and well kept for the age of the property. The rooms were cool due to the numerous windows and cool breeze in the evenings. The AC would have been more than sufficient. We spent most of our time at the beach so the power loss wasn’t so bad (my son had a harder time ).If we decide to visit St John’s again, we would definitely stay here again. (Hopefully with power!) Dena really kept us posted on everything going on in the island and I was appreciative of her responsiveness and island tips and recommendations. We felt safe and cared for here. It’s a beautiful property that I would recommend to other families, but it will be harder for elderly couples due to all the stairs and even the second bedroom (loft) has circular stairs, so better for teenagers.All in all an excellent time despite the power outage (which means no water and no flush).

We had an amazing stay at Palmy Daze! The condo was perfect for our family of 4 with lots of space and an amazing deck to watch the sunrise! Our boys enjoyed the pool area and anyone we came across was so friendly! The condo is very clean and has all the amenities that you may need including beach gear and coolers. AC in the bedroom and upstairs loft was perfect and it was always a comfortable temperature! We were especially impressed with the property manager Dena and Trevor, they were super responsive and helpful to us. We loved the added bonus of the Kia Sorento we had to use for the week as well! We were able to explore the island and visit all the amazing beaches St. John has to offer! We were picked up and dropped off at the ferry and they even stopped at the grocery store on our first night so we could stock up on a few things which was really nice. The location of this condo is awesome, a quick mile out of Cruz Bay, but was a nice easy drive to Coral Bay as well! We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

The view from the balcony was beautiful. The house was perfect for our needs. The location is great being close to Cruz Bay and right off of Centerline Road. It was extremely helpful to have managers pick us up and drop us off at the ferry. He shared great insight into what we should do on the island. Having the car made it stress free and helpful. St Johns is breathtaking. Would come back again in a heart beat!

A warning


We needed a stay for one extra night before our departure. I booked this stay and received a message from the owner that it was an error and they don’t do one night rentals. However, he then said they could accommodate us (2 couples, 2 kids). I received a message after the stay requesting a 5 star review and to directly contact them with any concerns, but this stay was so bad that I feel mislead by their 9.7 star rating. The condo was SO uncomfortably hot. The two bedroom AC plug in floor units were insufficient to cool it to anything resembling comfortable. My husband killed one cockroach inside despite always having the doors and screens shut, so even though it’s on the top floor there’s a definite sealing issue. The beds felt very cheap and uncomfortable, and I had to sleep on a towel because the pillow had visible mold and had a strong odor of mildew. The “pull out couch sleeper” is very misleading
they were small and the most uncomfortable surface. The showers looked dirty, and I found a toe nail clipping next to the bed. It felt like one step above camping, which was very disappointing for a 650 fee and 9.7 rating. Fair warning: we’ve stayed at many properties on the island and will never return to this rental or complex.

The property is beautiful. However, I don’t think it’s quite large enough to accommodate 8 adults. The futons are quite small. I think it’s a great spot for a family. My friends and I were getting noise complaints before 11pm almost every night. One of the neighbors who live in the same complex threatened to call the police? I’ve stayed on Saint John many times, In many different locations and I’ve never received one noise complaint. So if you’re a group of adults, and anticipate getting rowdy, this probably isn’t the place for you. We also had brought a lot of food down to the pool area to grill but not one of the 4 grills down there were working and the pool light is broken. Aside from that, the space is beautiful, the jeep is an excellent perk and the hosts are kind enough to pick you up and drop you off to the ferry in Cruz Bay. The hosts were very responsive and gave us grace on our “noise” complaints, which I appreciated also.

So convenient!

This was a great and convenient location on St. John. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a great day on the beach. It made everything so simple and fun — the Jeep was a fabulous bonus. Our kids loved the spiral staircase, the deep swimming pool, and the view from the deck. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Palmy Daze so much! It was a lovely condo for just the two of us but the loft and couch would have worked out fine if our kids wanted to join us. The view from the deck was glorious and the we miss the warm trade winds blowing through the palm tree right off the deck. The jeep was super convenient plus! The driveway was initially a bit scary but we got used to it after a day. Trevor was very helpful picking us up and dropping us off from the ferry. What a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Great condo and close proximity to area attractions

Our stay started out super convenient as the property manager Trevor picked us up right away at the ferry and took us to our condo earlier than check in time. He gave us a great overview of the island and things we would need. This place came with a jeep which was such an added bonus. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. It also had a sun shade which we desperately needed every day at the beach. Had chairs and coolers and floats too. Any questions I had the property managers responded immediately. They also were helpful in helping us plan our return ferry back to st Thomas airport.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our week. The condo was nice and appeared as described. Some of the complex’s furniture around the pool is broken, but the Pastory needs to take care of that. Use of the Jeep was an added benefit. The AC in the main bedroom was great. There is an AC unit in the loft, but it is too hot outside for it to be super effective. If you’re a hot sleeper you’ll need to sleep downstairs. The owner was very informative prior to our arrival and responsive when we had an issue. The property manager was on site regularly and also very helpful.

From the 30 degree incline on the driveway to the steep unlighted outdoor stairway, this is an unsafe place. Overall friendly vibe of a 60’s youth hostel with beautiful palm trees and birds singing.

Dana and Trevor were excellent hosts. Though we already had a ride to the unit, Gina had offered to pick us up at the ferry and drive us to the unit. Trevor gave us a great tour of the unit, commented on things that we could do in the area and gave us a quick tutorial on the best way to park the car that was part of the rental. The unit was very clean. The parking was a little daunting at first. Being an island shaped like a mountain, the roads are steep with switchbacks, and the unit sat on the side of a hillside. Upside the view was spectacular. Downside, a steep grade to get in and out of the parking space. we were a little wary at first going up and down the road, but we soon got the hang of it and didn’t think twice about it. But just beware, the grades going up and down in Saint John can be very, very steep. Some things we wish we had brought more of with us Are bug spray. The mosquitoes were horrific. If you’re prone to getting bug bites, bring some strong bug spray. My son and I were getting 10 to 15 mosquito bites a day despite wearing bug spray. But my daughter didn’t get bit at all. So depends on your chemistry. We would stay there again. We never got around to using the pool, though it looked great. Hiking trails were right there and we took advantage of them so that was nice. We use the beach chairs and the cooler bag provided. Also wish we had brought laundry pods with us to do laundry at the on-site laundry facilities.would recommend this if you want to specta

Happy to have found Palmy Daze

Palmy Daze was a welcome respite after days snorkeling at any of the many beaches and coves we explored. The property was located not far from town off the main road that goes across the island. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for casual evening meals and to relax after a day in the sun and water. The slow cooker was a welcome surprise and we put it to use several times. The roads took a good day to get used to but we knew we couldn’t get lost, especially since we weren’t always firm on where we were going. Our trip happened to coincide with Carnival which was an unexpected delight to experience. The activity made parking in Cruz Bay a little extra but Garet’s advice to pay to park and enjoy yourself was perfect. It was July so we expected heat and humidity but the dramatic rain showers and breezes were a bonus. Next time we’d like to get to do more hiking when the weather is a little bit cooler. The advice someone shared to not pack too much as you’ll be in your bathing suit all the time was absolutely correct. Great place to meet up with family for a vacation.

Nice and clean villa with comprehensive amenities!

My family stayed here for 5 days and it was great! Overall it was very clean and homey, and the host Garet and property manager Dena were super kind and helpful! Free Jeep included in the rent also makes this such a sweet deal, which I don't think you can find anywhere else on St.John. With so many things going on with my life, I really hope I will find another chance to visit this beautiful island and stay at this place again soon!

We loved this place!

This place was wonderful. Our group was my husband and me and my mother-in-law and my daughter who is 2.5. My husband and I stayed upstairs and everyone else shared the room downstairs. Everyone was very comfortable. The view was beautiful. The location is as great and the pool was also beautiful and a salt water pool which really makes a difference. We had just 3 minor criticisms: 1 the listing said hot tub and there is no hot tub. 2. One of the two coin op washing machines was broken and ate our money. 3. Some of the furniture by the pool just needed to be taken to the dump as it was irreparably damaged.

Beautiful view. Gorgeous palm tree right outside our deck. Plenty of fans. Well equipped kitchen. Including the car was fabulous. Dena and Garret are both great.

Wonderful Stay

We had a fantastic time at this condo. The communication with the property managers was fantastic! It was very clean and a ton of space. The A/C in the bedroom was a nice touch. The proximity to town is great as well. We would definitely return - getting a car with the rental is an INCREDIBLE perk!

Convenient to Cruz Bay

Two 60+ yr olds, coming to STJ for ages. Location to Cruz is ideal. Communication w/Garet was very easy and quick. Plenty of beach chairs and snorkel equipment. Wish the A/C in MBR was more effective. Only used pool once- no hand rail on stairs going into pool so if you have bad knees, be aware. Upstairs BR is comfy and is very breezy and offers another choice. No issues w/bugs. An excellent choice if you have good knees, still a good choice if you don’t!

Nice condo with car

Dena was very kind to pick us at the ferry dock - The car is definitely is huge bonus as it can get difficult to find one on the island - The apartment was clean and well equipped (well except only AC in 1 bedroom) The road is a little noisy.

Great stay and great location

We love this property. The AC in the master bedroom is a nice touch but wasn’t needed. Short 7 minute drive to downtown Cruz Bay and the beaches of North Shore. Paddle board and fins that were at the condo are amazing! So much fun for our kids. And all the beach chairs were great. The Jeep wrangler is perfect for the island and saved us a lot of money. Will definitely stay again!!

Great stay

We were a group of 5 adults and 1 6 yo kid. The fact that the property came with a car big enough to hold all of us was a steal. The property itself was in a good location just 5-10 minutes away from Red Hook. Fold out sofa in the living was surprisingly comfortable. All in all we would definitely stay at the property again.
