Palmetto Bugs
In Florida’s tropical climate, palmetto bugs live outdoors in surrounding vegetation. It’s possible for one or a small number to occasionally come indoors, especially during periods of rain or changing weather; similar to how a house fly or other insect may find its way inside. This is typical for the region and is not related to cleanliness or a reflection of poor housekeeping standards. Keeping doors and windows closed can help minimize the likelihood. Palmetto bugs are not the same as German cockroaches, which are indoor pests associated with infestations; palmetto bugs primarily live outdoors and do not indicate an underlying issue within the home.

Rules
Rental agreement and ID verification are required after booking. Violations of house rules may result in fees or removal without refund. There are NO parties or events allowed without prior written approval. Noncompliance fees may include: $500 per unauthorized pet, $500 for smoking inside the home, one night’s rate for late checkout past 10 AM, $150/person/day for exceeding max occupancy, $100/hour for deep cleaning, stain removal, illness-related cleanup, $500+ for plumbing damage (please flush only toilet paper), additional charges for tampering with safety/pool equipment, missing items, or damage not covered by the damage waiver.
