Great property and location. Perfect view. Loved the unit but bring or plan to go to store to get shampoo, body wash, and laundry detergent. Beach towels would have been a nice touch too. It did have two chairs and a cooler to use.

We had a decent time overall but were a bit disappointed with this unit given the rate. Just little things like, no oven mitt, only one spare pillow case, no beach towels, one kitchen towel, etc. The WiFi/on demand was out most of our stay, it was supposedly due to the weather which is understandable but it did detract from our satisfaction. The washing machine was horribly moldy and the only setting I could get the drier to work on was the highest heat setting so that was a pain. It was obvious these appliances have been in disrepair for a long time but the owner just hasn’t addressed it. The kitchen was pretty dirty with obvious food smudges on counters and cabinets and well as something sticky on the nightstand (I didn’t call to complain, I just bought some Clorox wipes and cleaned as I found things.) The bed was fine, bathrooms were fine, but for this rate, I expected a better appointed condo. The size felt misleading as well - not sure how they get the pictures on VRBO to seem so huge when the space is so much smaller. All in all, very disappointed for the money spent. Its proximity to the beach was awesome tho, as well as parking so if you don’t really care so much about the things I’ve mentioned, you’ll have a great time here as the location can’t be beat.

Incredible view/ location but needs some updates

The view from this top floor condo is spectacular. We loved the balcony to sit and watch the sunset when we chose not to walk the beach. We would have used it even more except the heat and humidity were super high so we spent most of our time in the ocean although it was in the shade most of the day so that was nice too. The condo was stocked with the essentials we needed and the rental office staff were friendly and helpful. Our only recommendations are to replace the bed mattress and the outdated TVs with smart TVs.

Great location, everything you need & nothing you don't.

This unit is great! The pool deck is very narrow, that bothered me. The bed was comfortable, the unit was set up well, the balcony was fantastic! The public beach access is right beside the building, literally the walkway is beside the pool, so that's the only negative for me. The front door was a little hard to open because it's so heavy. You do get a starter pack of dishwasher detergent, paper towels, & toilet paper.

Wonderful Stay!

This was our third time staying at the Gulf Strand Resort. We love this place! The view is breathtaking and everything you need is within walking distance. This was our first time staying in 602 and I hope it's not our last. Wonderful unit, no complaints here!

On the Beach

Very good location and only steps from the beach. Property and room was clean. All amenities for the room were available; bedding, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, kitchen stuff. The living and dining room furniture is a bit dated and could use an upgrade, but it was clean and functional. Property manager was friendly and very helpful. Very pleaseant stay.

Amazing view and location

This is a fantastic penthouse property with incredible views from all rooms. The balcony is also enormous and great for watching sunsets or late night beverages while listening to the waves. The pool and hot tub were great too and never overcrowded. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great beach rental near everything.

Condo 602 Gulf Strands

I stayed here with my parents and older sister. The second we walked in we all were shocked. It was excellent! The views were panoramic and beautiful. The location was amazing. The beach wasn’t too crowded, and took 2 minutes to walk to. Right on the ocean. We slept on the pull out couch and it worked fine. The condo was so cozy and updated! The balcony was huge and we had breakfest there every morning. The pool was a bit small, but we didn’t care. My sister and I loved the hot tub at 11pm! It’s right on the beach, you can’t beat it. We’re staying here every year from now on. Thanks!!

My wife and I loved our stay at the condo! It was very clean and great location. We would definitely recommend it... but just a heads up...the mattress on the bed was hard and not to our preference. We tried the pull out sofa and it was better.

Great Stay!

The condo was prefect for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the large balcony for meals and watching the sunset over the beach. The pool was also very enjoyable! Can’t beat the location. Condo was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and also provided beach equipment (could use some upgrading but an unexpected perk). Thanks for the great hospitality!
