Tolle Unterkunft - Gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Wohnung. Alles wie beschrieben, sauber, gemĂŒtlich und zum Strand nicht weit. Es gab zwar noch Bauarbeiten auf Grund der Hurrikans im Haus, aber diese haben ĂŒberhaupt nicht gestört. Unterkunft und Vermieter sehr zu empfehlen.

Beach Vacation

The apartment we stayed in was very clean, bright and open. It was the perfect set up for us with three young children. It was a short walk to the beach and perfect distance to walk to the grocery store and other shops. The only downside was that there was construction going on in the downstairs units that apparently are not managed by this company and so the daytime in the apartment was very loud and difficult for the children to nap. Other than that, it was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again as long as there’s no construction going on.

Great choice for the family

Two block (3 minute) walk to the beach. Clean and comfortable, with a room for the kids (bunks worked perfect) and room for us. Minor items: floor gets dirty/sandy easily so expect a lot of sweeping. Bring your own toiletries and what they provide is minimal (shampoo and soap). There are some beach items in the closet (boogie boards, chairs, etc) in various conditions. We purchased and left an umbrella for future travelers. Overall, we were very pleased.

We Would Stay There Again!

All but a couple small things were great!

The place was great! It was pretty clean, except for sand in one of the beds. And the only other small thing was there was no liner in the shower curtain
 just the curtain. And the only suggestions I might have is to go through the tv’s and sign out guests accounts in the different apps that they forgot to sign out of. And maybe put some padding on the edge of the bunk bed. Other than that, we loved it and would definitely go again!!

Good location

The place was very nice and clean. Really great location but the WiFi was not working. There was not all of the beach stuff at the property that was listed on the site. The leg to one of the kitchen chairs broke this morning as I sat down to eat and and fell to the ground. I saw it had been glued on from someone prior...guessing it was their quick fix. The transportation service would have been nice except it was always over an hour wait so we ended up having to pay for ubers.

It’s worth it if you’re down to buy all of the extras

Check in process was less than ideal. Our Uber dropped us off at the rental office. We had to walk approx a half mile to get to the property. This would have been fine but we had to lug all of our belongings with us as well. An easier check in process would be ideal. (Host meeting at property) Property was not very clean upon arrival. Had various bugs throughout the unit. Dishes were not clean. Fridge hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Another big factor Florida Beach Rentals fails in is the amenities. One roll of toilet paper is all you get no matter how many guests are staying and how many nights. I stayed for 8 nights with four people total. This lasted us the first day. When I asked for more, the property management company said I was on my own for the rest of the time. So I had to go to the store to get more. It was quite irritating. Was also yelled at by cleaning people for leaving the unit “dirty.” They asked us to help them clean the unit. I figured with the cleaning fee, that it was not our job to clean the unit before we left? Maybe they’re just not getting paid enough. Some good things were the beach toys in the closets. Some games throughout the house. The kitchen was good enough to make some small meals. Overall would not stay again with Florida Beach Rentals. Poor customer service on all ends. Maybe use more of the cleaning fee to actual clean the unit and pay your employees better so they don’t complain about having to clean a unit.

Perfect Vacation at Island Escape

We got very lucky to squeeze our vacation in, just before everything got shut down, due to the Corona virus. We enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment was not only super clean but really was so well stocked with everything you may need in the kitchen. Check in was a breeze and it was just a 3 minute walk to our favorite beach bar - The Palm Pavillion. The little balcony was perfect to hang out in the evening and I enjoyed my morning walks through the north beach neighborhood. I can highly recommend this place and we'll be back for sure!

Adorable and Affordable

Had everything we needed, including umbrella/chairs/sand toys/games/movies. Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances/tools (minus food of course!) Place was cute with lots of mirrors and deco charms and private screened in balcony. We did see a charcoal grill downstairs but didn’t use. I don’t think you will find this much space /location/charm for the price elsewhere on the island. One street over from the beach access, and across the street from a cute public playground/large field. Within steps to a restaurants/stores-we were able to walk everywhere. Theres a secure Coin operated laundry onsite, rental company can provide change. You check in with the Rental company down the street- they were fast and courteous, we’d use again!

Great value, with some unexpected nice features

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here tremendously. The condo was extremely clean, and the furniture, fixtures, lamps and appliances were all in great shape. (Oven was a little old and small, but it baked our cookies just fine!) No complaints about the two coin-operated washers and dryers either. The decor was festive but not too corny. The screened in balcony off of the bedrooms was nice, with a convenient little table for drinks and four patio chairs. We were surprised, however, by how inviting the large table in the common area just outside our door was for dining al fresco. The unit is on the second floor and looks out over a small park across the street. That, along with the sea breeze there, made the space quite pleasant. The property was barely a five minute walk to the beach, and the first area of the beach that you encounter has a life-guard chair right there. We were there in August, which I think is why there were actually a couple of days with really fun waves - not just the calm clear green water in all the pictures. I was amazed by how warm - almost hot! - the water was. We swam through sunset most days. Walking back home, at the edge of the sand there was a well maintained little shower station. We only had a few complaints. The most annoying was the TV interface. We are pretty tech savvy, but couldn't get the remotes to work no matter what configuration we tried of the three provided for the main TV. We wound up using the single 4-way button at the base of the TV to navigate through everything. Managed to access our Netflix account, etc, in the end, though, and the huge TV was really high-quality. Other than that, I would have appreciated a few sundries like plastic wrap, twisties, sugar packets (at least there were coffee filters!), and pen and paper. A clothes drying rack would have been really useful, too. There were a lot of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc, though, which was great. Overall, our stay in this condo was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Was a comfortable stay until....

Let me start with some positives about this condo. The management company where you check in was very friendly and helpful. It was really convenient being only one and a half blocks away from the beach, and right across from a playground. Though not in the heart of town, it is a pleasant five minute walk to get to the main strip where there are restaurants and shopping. The owner also provides two beach umbrellas, a few boogie boards, and some buckets and shovels for little ones. (We have a one year old who enjoyed them) That brings me to my negatives - we have a one year old. Cleanliness was key, and I even inquired prior to booking to find out if sheets and beadspreads were always washed between bookings. They assured me they are, and they very well could have been. But I had my doubts when I noticed that the rug in the living room looked to be quite filthy, and when on our third day I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. I was mortified, and to have my daughter crawling around in the condo, and sleeping in a pack and play close to the floor became scary at the thought of it. We only had two days left on our stay after that, so I wasn't about to find a new place on my own dime and try to pack up all of my things for the remainder of our stay. So we basically stayed out of the condo as long as we could during the day, and slept with one eye open. I know that "roaches" aren't unheard of in Florida but to have one (or who knows how many!) where we stayed was unacceptable and mortifying.

Perfect location. Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything.

Perfect location for our family. Quiet area, but close enough walk to everything. The condo could use some updates like the central air, stove, and lighting. Unit couldn’t get to our comfort level due to older central air. Had to plug in 2 of the burners and they looked to be on their last leg. Bathroom light above the sink worked when it wanted to. Would have been convenient to have some kitchen rags and towels, along with some pot holders for the kitchen. Made cleaning up and getting things from the oven and microwave a hassle. The unit was very clean and the bed was comfy. Lots of utensils and cooking supplies to make cooking convenient. We would stay again if we decide on Clearwater beach again. Absolutely loved all ththe extras from books, games, movies to anything you would need for the beach. Makes packing and traveling that much easier. Would absolutely suggest this stay to anyone on a budget wanting to have a great time during their stay.

great proximity

Staying at this location was great. We were very close to everything but in a quiet area. I loved being able to walk across the park and be on the beach. The condo was well stocked. The beds are very comfortable ( even the pullout couch bed!) There are beach chairs and umbrellas and sand toys. Make ice as soon as you get there. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5- there was a weird smell in the condo. The blankets havent been washed in a while. ( sheets were clean though) and we did not have a shower one of the days because a unit in the building was having work done so they shut off the water. If i had booked through florida rentals instead of vrbo i could have saved 50 dollars in booking fees. Overall though, great!
