The Space:

Welcome to Blue Escapes, a charming 2-bedroom beach cottage designed for easy, laid-back days in Indian Rocks Beach!



You’ll be just a 5-minute walk from the beach—simply head down the street, cross Gulf Blvd, and you’re there. We also provide beach gear to make getting to the sand as easy as possible.



Inside, you’ll find comfortable sleeping spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, high-speed Wi-Fi, and everything you need to settle in and feel at home.

Blue Escapes has two comfortable bedrooms + a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.



Bedroom 1: King-size bed, plush pillows, wall-mounted TV, and blackout blinds for a restful night's sleep.



Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed, soft linens, plush pillows, and a cozy chair for relaxing after a day at the beach.



Important layout note: Bedroom 2 is accessed by walking through Bedroom 1. Bedroom 2 also connects to the laundry area and an exterior door. Guests staying in Bedroom 2 will walk through Bedroom 1 to access the bathroom.



We want guests to know this layout before booking so you can decide whether it's the right fit for your group.

Coffee lovers are covered, too! You'll find a Keurig, organic K-Cups, and Sugar in the Raw to help get your mornings started.



The nearby dining area gives everyone a comfortable place to gather for meals, coffee, or planning the day's adventures.

The hand-stenciled front patio is another relaxing spot for your morning coffee or a good book. There's even a Little Free Library across the street for book lovers!

The Neighborhood:

Blue Escapes puts you right in the heart of Indian Rocks Beach (IRB)—a laid-back Gulf Coast beach town with beautiful sunsets, local restaurants, cafés, bars, and plenty of Florida charm.



The cottage is two blocks from the beach, with beach access about a 5-minute walk away. You're also close enough to walk to several local favorites:

☀ About a 10-minute walk to The Turkish Flame

☀ Restaurants & bars within walking distance

☀ 15-minute drive to Clearwater Beach

☀ 20-minute drive to John's Pass

☀ Approximately 30–40 minutes to Tampa International Airport (TPA)



IRB sits just south of Clearwater Beach and offers a more relaxed, less touristy atmosphere—one of the reasons we think this little beach town is so special.



Blue Escapes is located in a residential neighborhood, so we kindly ask guests to be considerate of our neighbors and help us preserve the peaceful atmosphere that locals and visitors love.



Getting Around:

One of the best parts of staying here is that you don't have to drive everywhere!



Several restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and we provide three bikes—two adult bikes and one child's bike—for guests to enjoy during their stay.



There's also a Suncoast Beach Trolley stop right on our corner, offering an inexpensive and fun way to explore the beach communities along the coast. If you plan to ride the trolley, we recommend downloading the Flamingo Fares and Transit app before your trip.



Paid public parking is also available throughout Indian Rocks Beach.



And if cruising around town by golf cart sounds more your speed, ask us for a golf cart rental referral! We're happy to recommend a wonderful local small business.



Other Things to Note:

- ‼️TRAVEL INSURANCE: For guests traveling between June 1 & November 30, we HIGHLY recommend you purchase travel insurance through Airbnb to protect against flight cancellations or delays. 🌀



- Forget about packing or renting beach gear! We provide our guests with towels, four chairs, coolers, a beach wagon, an umbrella, and sunblock. Additionally, there's a big bag of beach toys for the little ones. ⛱️



- There are two adult bicycles and one kids' bike for you to enjoy during your stay. 🚲



- We offer a pack-n-pack at the property at all times. A crib is available upon request! If you book our property & need additional baby equipment (crib, bathtub, etc.), please don’t hesitate to let us know. We’ll gladly assist! 🚼



- The driveway fits two vehicles. 🚗



- The owner parks their golf cart, which is available for rent, on a separate driveway covered with a black tarp. Please do not tamper with the cart. Thank you.



- ❄️ AC INFO: When using the air conditioning between May and August, kindly avoid setting it below 75°F from noon to 8 PM, and remember to adjust it to 78°F when leaving the property. This practice allows the AC to defrost and operate more effectively in the evening.

We want you to feel completely at home during your stay! You'll enjoy self-check-in and plenty of privacy, but we're always available if you have questions or need assistance. From time to time, you may see us stopping by briefly to take care of the trash and recycling—otherwise, we'll leave you to enjoy your vacation.
