Tucked away on the beloved south end of St. Simons, The Opal is a relaxed 3-bed, 3-bath townhome made for easy island living. Perfect for family beach weeks, couple getaways, or small-group escapes, it’s your home base for soaking up all the charm SSI has to offer.

Start your mornings with coffee on the patio, wander the beaches, shop local favorites, and enjoy dining al fresco. After a full day, come back to a cozy, comfortable space where you can kick off your sandals, unwind, and recharge.

The Opal SSI has plenty of space for you and your crew with three comfy bedrooms and three full baths. Downstairs, you’ll enjoy an open living + dining area that flows into the kitchen, a laundry room, and a queen ensuite retreat complete with a walk-in closet and oversized shower. Step outside to the patio — perfect for slow coffee mornings or evening cocktails.

Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms: another spacious king ensuite with a shower/tub bath, walk-in closet, and its own private deck (your quiet escape spot!), plus a twin-bed ensuite with a shower bath and walk-in closet that’s ideal for kids, cousins, or friends. Each room is designed to feel cozy, relaxed, and perfectly set up for easy island living.

You’ll have full run of the house and outdoor spaces to make yourself at home. The only spots off-limits are a few locked closets we keep for owner, cleaning, and maintenance supplies.

She’ll make sure you have everything you need for a smooth, 5-star stay, including the best insider tips, recommendations, or a little extra help if you need it — otherwise, you’ll have complete privacy to soak up The Opal SSI. We’ve got you covered—whether that’s stocking the fridge, setting you up with beach gear, or arranging extras like a private chef, boating, fishing, paddle-boarding, horseback riding, or spa days (all for an additional fee). Extended Stay Housekeeping Policy:
For stays of 30 days or longer, a light housekeeping service is required every three (3) weeks during the stay.

The standard cleaning fee collected at booking applies to the final departure cleaning only.

Mid-stay cleanings help maintain the home during extended stays and allow our team to ensure everything remains in excellent condition.

Guests will be billed separately for required mid-stay cleanings. Cleaning dates will be coordinated in advance.
