The property itself is in excellent condition, with a prime location within walking distance of the airport, numerous restaurants, shops, and direct beach access. The local staff members from St. Thomas were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the experience. However, I was disappointed with the demeanor of the manager, an older woman who was consistently curt, unapproachable, and lacked the hospitality expected at a resort.
Additionally, I was surprised that the resort did not incorporate reggae music at the bar, restaurant, or beach area. The Caribbean is known for its vibrant culture, and the absence of this staple made the atmosphere feel less authentic. Another opportunity for improvement would be adding beachside drink service to enhance the guest experience.
Overall, while the resort has strong potential with its beautiful property and ideal location, the operations and management could benefit from improvement. I would stay here again now that I know what to expect, but for travelers seeking top-tier customer service, this may not be the best fit. If your priority is a clean, safe, and beachfront stay, this property meets the mark.
