River guest house with jacuzzi, fire and boat hire

A modern cozy guest house for 2 adults only.

(If more than 2 people turn up, your stay will be cancelled with immediate effect and denied entry).

We have been contact by lots of previous guests. Unfortunately we had to close the guest house up till now due to the river flooding our main house on 8th January 2024 which we have had to knock it down. Luckily the guest house was high enough to miss the flood water. The new house is being rebuild above the 1 in 100 flood levels. We also just had our first born who was only 12 days old so lots of change! The guest house is closed during the week due to building work. Weekends only unless you need it during the week but there will be builders on site. The guest house is at the front of the property away from the main house.

Located by The River Thames on a private Island. This is a tranquil and peaceful setting - no parties allowed or extra guest.

We charge extra for:

Boat hire (£40 pound per hour) or (£100 for 3 hours).

Jacuzzi hire (£40 pound per night).

Fireplace bioethanol fuel (£10 pound bottle).

Available on pre arranged request 24hrs notice required.

The guest house is the perfect spot for easy access to Windsor and London with just a short drive from Heathrow Airport (5mins terminal 5 traffic dependant) being this close to the airport we can get the planes coming over this way it’s all to do with the wind direction. Ascot, Kempton Park and Windsor racecourses are close by as well as an easy drive to Legoland, Liquid Leisure, Thorpe Park and Harry Potter world 30-40mins away.

Large bedroom with en-suite and a spacious open-plan sitting room/kitchenette. Roller blinds on the doors and windows to give you privacy during your stay.

The space:
MayGrove Riverside Guest House Retreat has direct parking spaces and room for 1 - 2 cars comfortably.

Steps leading up to the large decking area surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants.

Front door from the decking leads into the open plan living room and kitchenette.

Kitchenette:
Microwave, toaster, kettle, portable hob, fridge with freezer compartment. You will also find a range of essentials crockery with complementary tea and coffee and milk sachets. No oven.

There is a 50inch smart TV with Netflix, Alexa and Freeview all built in.

Fireplace with smokeless bioethanol (not logs) 1 litre bottle £10 which will lasts approx 3- 4 hours.

Bedroom:
In the bedroom you will find a large king size bed.

Bathroom:
Modern shower-room and a toilet, basin with a cabinet, a towel rail and a range of soaps and shampoo with fluffy bath towels.

Modern Adax Electric heating in all the rooms.

Outside:
The guest house has its own private decked courtyard surrounded by palm trees with a secluded comfortable outdoor seating area to relax amongst the greenery.

The use of Jacuzzi at £40/day. Usage times are 10am-10.00pm (cut off time due to neighbours). Organise prior to your stay so the jacuzzi is hot and ready on your arrival. Boat hire £40 per hour and £100 for 3 hours. Payment made upfront.

The slat fencing and palm trees give you a private and secluded area to kick back and relax. Please check images to see where the main house is where we live and our neighbours house is.

As you can see the main house is undergoing grand design build and phase one of building plans are underway. The guest house is far enough away from the main house to give you privacy.

Food - We get Uber eats and deliveroo to the guest house - we are in close proximity to staines and Windsor which there are local bars and places to eat. There’s also a range of pubs and restaurants close by access by car or boat.
