A 2018 new-build in the Fairview neighborhood, this 4BR/3BA retreat is a prime choice for year-round fun. Stroll to local hiking trails or walk to downtown shops and restaurants on Lincoln Avenue. Skiers and snowboarders will be pleased to find themselves just a 9-minute drive from Steamboat Ski Resort. At home, high ceilings and large picture windows provide plenty of natural light. Interior perks include a plush primary suite, a private garage, and a sparkling full kitchen.

Two living areas offer everyone space to spread out. Kick back on the sectional and stream new releases on the Great Room’s smart TV. The family room is outfitted with more comfortable furnishings and a smart TV. Stainless steel appliances bring modern style and upscale utility to the kitchen. Chat at the kitchen bar as dinner simmers on the gas range. When you’re ready to eat, gather around the table in the dining area. Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, radiant heating, an in-unit washer/dryer, and parking. Sleds and board games are also provided for use during your stay.

This three-story rental sleeps eight guests between three bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the family room. Sleep soundly on a queen-size bed in the primary suite. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms also each hold a queen-size bed. One guest bathroom includes a tub/shower combination, while the other offers a walk-in shower.

Hit the slopes at Steamboat Ski Resort, just a 9-minute drive from your rental. Or take the bus! A 5-minute walk to the bus line bus stop and then a 10-15 minute bus ride to the ski resort. For more activities, walk 10 minutes to Lincoln Avenue to explore downtown museums, shops, and restaurants. The historic Art Depot and renowned Library are both a 3-minute stroll. Local parks include Little Toots Park and West Lincoln Park -- each of which is a 7-minute walk. During warmer months, walk six minutes to the Blackmere Trailhead or five minutes to the Yampa River Core Trail.

Sharing only a minimal common wall, the other half of this duplex is occupied full-time by the owner. Their family includes a newborn baby, so please keep music and noise at a reasonable volume.
Parking is available for three cars, with one in the garage and two in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The property is in a great location—close enough to walk to town but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself felt a bit smaller than expected for seven people, and the beds and pillows were not very comfortable, with the mattresses feeling closer to full size than queen. We experienced some issues with the TV upon check-in, but the property management team responded quickly and resolved it, which we really appreciated. One small note: the coffee pot doesn’t automatically shut off, and it would have been helpful if that was mentioned to avoid dealing with burnt coffee each day.

We enjoyed the home's location and our adult daughter and graddaughter loved everything about the place. While we could easily park two vehicles, the lack of visitor parking on the property and on the street was a bit.problematic as wewere in town for a family reunion. The beds were comfortable and my 14 yr old granddaughter loved having her own space in the basement. The furniture didn't bother my daughter and granddaughter but we found it much too low and unsupporting (we're in our late 70s) and difficult to get up from. The kitchen was mostly supplied and we managed. It would be nice to have a half bathroom on the main floor instead of the litlle pantry/clost in the corner. My daughter said she would stay there again but I wouldn't recimmend it for anyone pushing 80 yrs old.

Great place, Horrific customer service

The house itself is great. It is just as pictured and in a great location. We walked to almost everything all weekend and it was very easy. Also most shuttles will come directly to the house if you need to do something outside of town. The customer service for this place, however, was absolutely horrendous. Nobody responded to a single message we sent all weekend and when we called the property management number they told us they don’t have any authority to answer questions and that if the owner of the property doesn’t want to answer, then they don’t have to. To this day they still have not sent anything other than automated bot responses. I have asked multiple times about an expensive item that was left there and all I get are bot responses or the property management people essentially saying “too bad”. It’s a shame such a nice property has to be tainted by such horrible customer service. If you don’t care about customer service, go ahead and stay here and you’ll enjoy the house just fine, but if you want to stay somewhere with good communication and service, as is typical with other house rental platforms, then this may not be the best pick for you.

Be prepared to have zero communication with the property manager, Vacasa if you were need any assistance before or during your stay. After repeated days of delays responding to anything, it was akeays the same poor excuse, "large volume of emails to respind to." Its their generic automatically generated response.

Newer Modern Duplex with Close Proximity to Yampa River and Downtown!

We did enjoy our stay at this duplex. It is definitely close (two blocks) to the Yampa River and about a 5-minute walk to downtown. However, we were disappointed by some maintenance issues and cleanliness of this property, which we expressed to the property management. Upon arrival, we noticed that two of the windows had cracks all the way through them and had been taped. Two of the large blinds in the living/dining area could not be raised, which was disappointing. The garage door opener would open, but not close the garage door. You had to hold the garage door button down inside the garage to get the garage door to close. The toaster did not work as it would burn on every setting and a couple of the hand towel bars would fall apart on the floor. Also, the oven and the drawer below the oven looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The white baseboards and ledges of doors had not been wiped as the dust was quite noticeable and other cleaning needed to be attended to. Basically, it was overall clean, just no attention to detail when it came to cleaning this cute duplex. The hanging plants on the front porch were almost dead. Looks like someone forgot to water them. Also, there were no dishcloths/dish towels/scrubbers to wash the dishes or any kleenex to be found. Overall, we had a good stay, but not what we were expecting for the price paid. Generally, we have been very happy with all our VRBO rentals over the years, but this one could simply use some extra TLC and some attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and basic amenities.

Close to Town Location, better maintenance needed

Overall our stay was great! Here are just a few things we wish were a bit better: - With how modern the house looked we assumed there would be AC but there wasn't. That is totally our fault for missing that AC wasn't listed as an amenity in the description. If the owner is considering any improvements we'd recommend AC as it as 90 degrees in Steamboat when we stayed and house got quite hot. - The dishes weren't super clean so we had to clean most of the dishes we used. - There were several windows that were broken and taped together which was just a little weird. - Water pressure isn't great so showers took longer to get all products out of hair. Other than this, this place was very aesthetically pleasing and it was a great location! We would rate it an 8/10 and would stay again :)

Wonderful downtown location just a short walk to the free bus line

Property is well maintained and a recent build. Overall layout is perfect for large families. Location is great and the express bus line to the resort is around the corner. Two kitchen outlets for the microwave and coffee maker were not working when we arrived and the property management took care of it the same day as reported. Overall a great family vacation
