When building Stratton Resort, the Founders reserved a special spot, steps from the gondola to build their Family home. This home, Dancing Bear, is right next door. Close enough to leave the car keys on the dresser, and far enough away to enjoy the peace of the mountains, Dancing Bear is a fantastic home in and ideal location.
Newly renovated, this spacious 3,000 sqft home has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and plenty of room for both adults and kids. This beautiful home offers relaxation and elegance.

Pull right up to the front door of this large A Frame Mountain Home for an easy unload of your family and gear. All barriers between indoor and outdoor melt away, and you are enveloped in the grandeur of the surroundings as you enjoy the views of the village and the short walk to the slopes.

This three-level home offers two Living rooms/fireplaces/ TV/game table areas so you can have the adults upstairs and the kids downstairs. There are amenities at every level.
The fist level includes a mud room, game area, TV room w/fireplace, large bedroom with 2 Queen Beds and newly renovated generous sized full bathroom

Space flows from one level to the next as the stairway to leads to a large light filled open room with 25ft ceilings guarded by a huge stone fireplace. The seating area circle the fire, the kitchen is open and dining area has seating for 14. This layout suits socialization in whatever form – après ski with tales of the day's adventures, group golfing or mountain bike adventures. Cooking is easy in this open kitchen plan perfect for family style dining. Also on this floor, located at the top of the stairs, there is a full bathroom and charming study which is perfect for hanging out or guest overflows. The Master bedroom lies just off the great room featuring a welcoming king bed, sliding door to a deck, a changing room and a huge luxurious bathroom with soaking tub and large shower anchored by a gorgeous stone wall. On the deck there a 6 person hot tub perfect for the end of an active day.

The top floor boasts another beautifully renovated full bathroom, a huge guest bedroom with King Bed, and a Dormitory Room with 4 single beds

Throughout, linens are fresh and crisp. Appliances are top-of-the-line and the kitchen is supplied with everything you need for complete comfort during your stay.
In total you can sleep up to 12 people in beds with room for more on couches.

Spring: Be warmed by Sunlight as you shed the bustle of the city and luxuriate in this beautiful home. Spring is a quiet time for people in Vermont but the landscape is busy waking and blooming. You are a few steps to the village and hikes up the slopes to the Tower and Appalachian Trail. Get your fishing license and head off to one of Vermont's many streams and lakes or just enjoy a ride along the Vermont countryside. Breath in deep the oxygen filled air as you start your day with a sunrise.

Summer: Vermont is the best place to be in the summer. No crowds here, just enough people to enjoy the bounty and make new friends. Take a stroll to Stratton Village, and while the day away at a sidewalk café. Sore from all the activity, no problem the hot tub is there to sooth your muscles and get you ready for the next day.

Fall: Vermont has more trees per capita than any State and they don't let you forget it as they are a blaze . The fiery colors of autumn surround you, as you take in the crisp mountain air and explore the beauty of the Green Mountain State.. Farms markets are bursting with local vegetables, fruits, and products to create a delicious and memorable meal in this state of the art kitchen. he multitude of blankets makes you extra cozy, as you sip hot cider and reminisce about your day.
