Welcome to Three Little Birds Cottage, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This darling home is tucked away on three beautiful wooded acres on Bay Shore Drive. Enjoy this property all year long! You can enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and close proximity to Sturgeon Bay in the winter, watch for the lady slippers and baby deer to appear in the spring, relax on the huge front porch or back deck during the summer, and enjoy being surrounded by seasonal colors in the fall. Winter time offers holiday decor perfect to put you in the holiday spirit.

Go explore all of Door County's treasures during the day and return home to your own private retreat at night.

This property allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs. There is an additional fee collected at booking.

Water Access:
This is not a waterfront property but access is straight down the road across from the driveway.

Water access is at a dead-end road and down a short rocky bank. Flat rock area is suitable for bringing a few portable chairs to sit if desired to watch the beautiful sunsets.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
‱ Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
‱ A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
‱ PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This is a quiet community with residential neighbors. This home is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.

Our stay was wonderful! The home was very accommodating and roomy with our 2 dogs. It was very cozy with the fireplace which we used day and night. We were able to get wood for the fireplace easily. The location was centrally located between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. The property had everything needed for cooking in the kitchen with being able to walk the dogs out on the property and over to the bay.

Property was clean and well maintained, aside from a minor plumbing issue which was fixed within two hours of contacting property management, our stay was everything we could hope for. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again.

Great place to stay! The cabin is very comfortable and setup well as a rental property with items labeled and instructions. The only improvement we noted was that the instructions posted in the cabin for dogs and garbage removal at check out were slightly different than the emailed instructions. The email said dogs must be in a crate if left alone, the posted instructions inside the cabin said it is recommended. We took our dogs when we left, so it wasn't an issue. The email said to remove the trash at check out, but the instructions on the fridge said the cleaners would take it out. We took it out. All in all, this is a great place to stay in door county.

Wonderful Door County Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Three Little Birds. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The amenities were fantastic even for our dog. We loved how tastefully decorated the cottage was, and how they left instructions/stickers on how to use everything. We felt at home, and we cannot wait to return to this cottage. Thank you!

Door County Family Vacation

We had a family gathering with adult children, my 90 year old dad, plus two dogs, and the house was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked, and we loved the various porches and outdoor spaces for relaxing. Beautiful location in the woods, a short walk to the water, great for running, and a short drive to all the nearby towns. The fire pit in the back was awesome. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful added touches !!!

My family and I stayed at this property over the weekend. We stay at a lot of vacation rentals. I was specially pleased with this one as it had so many special touches they put together a travel book and manual and even left us mocks that we could take home. This was an amazing rental Were very nice and we plan to rent again. The property was amazing.

What a beautiful home! We are already planning a trip back! 4 minute walk to sunset on the water! Beautiful kitchen and deck. Living room and master suite were extremely comfortable. Loved our stay! So clean as well!

Amazing!!!!

Three Little Birds was a perfect place for our family to vacation in Door County! Unfortunately our Jamaican vacation was canceled due to hurricane Beryl. We were able to quickly grab this amazing property and feel so lucky it was somehow available last minute. The setting was beautiful!!! The home was immaculate and had anything and everything you could possibly need on your vacation! The owners truly want you to have the best vacation and for you to be comfortable in their home. Seriously couldn’t have asked for a better spot!!!! Highly recommend!

Three Birds is a lovely house, very comfortable for our group of two adults and five teens. The house is well appointed with everything we needed and the space was really great for board games, movies and porch time plus good proximity to all Door County has to offer. Great property with extra care

We loved our stay at Three Little Birds! We had to cancel in January due to a snowstorm and they were very accommodating finding us another weekend. The place was very well maintained and they provided tons of wood for us to use per our request! The coffee mugs left for us to keep was such a nice touch! Had a great time. Would 10//10 recommend!

Beautiful spot!

I booked this spot to surprise my partner with her friends for her birthday and it beat my expectations by a mile. Great for entertaining and relaxing. Incredibly clean, great view of the lake for only a short walk and within 15 minutes of shopping and downtown activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Girls retirement getaway

Myself and 4 friends who have all retired within the last year decided to celebrate with a mini girls vacay.. the house was more beautiful then the pictures, extremely clean and comfortable. There was enough room for all 5 of us to have a own beds, we did not want to leave. The only thing i could recommend would be handles to get into shower. Was a wonderful time at your beautiful 3 little birds house.
