The Modern Farmhouse near Syracuse University

Welcome to my modern farm house near Syracuse University! Guests will have access to the entire home which is conveniently located in the heart of Syracuse. The property is on a culturally diverse residential block that has its own driveway. Guests will be able to enjoy the full property which includes 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people, full kitchen and full dining room. The property is located near Destiny Mall, Syracuse University, lots of parks, shopping areas and restaurants. NO PARTIES AND ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING!

For your safety and the security of the property, there are security cameras located outside the home in the following areas:

Front door: Covers the entryway and faces outward.
Side of the house: Monitors the side/driveway
Back of the house: Monitors the back area
These cameras are used solely for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the property, ensuring your privacy during your stay.

the neighborhood was sketchy, lack of towels and the cookware was unacceptable. Several things were broken, 2 green chairs, towel rack and coat rack. The owner should invest in a washer/dryer.

Let me start off by saying that the young lady that I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and quite pleasant and responsive to my questions. This booking was made online. We booked this property for business guests and our guests refused to stay at the Farm House when they arrived; they did not feel safe and felt the house was haunted! It would be great if the owner(s) would post pictures of the outside of the property and the surrounding area, this way you know exactly what you are getting especially if you are from out of town and not familiar with the area. While the inside of the property seemed to be renovated--the outside was not, and the location seemed very sketchy. We ended up having to book alternative lodging for our guests at the last minute, which was quite costly. We lost the money already paid for the Farm House booking due to the Cancellation Policy, which we agreed to when booking, which states that you forfeit your payment if cancelled less than 7 days before arrival. I did try to reach out to the owners to see if we might be able to work something out--it was a "no go." So, I have to chalk this experience up to an expensive lesson learned and I hope that you learn from our mistake. Please read the reviews before booking, which was the partial response I received from the property owners/manager and do ask for pictures! I hope that you find this review helpful.

Syracuse football weekend

We had a great experience. The house is incredibly clean and there are 5 beds that can sleep 2 people each so there is ample space for a group. We were in town for a Syracuse football game and the easy access to campus and downtown was fantastic. I left something when we checked out and the owner was great about letting us get back in to grab it. We would certainly stay there again.

My stay

Location was not the best area, but the overall house inside was very nice and up to date. Location could be better. When we woke up this morning and walked outside. There were cops in the front yard They asked if we called the cops. We said no come to find out they must have been a shooting they found casings in the middle of the street right out our front door. Little scary but other than that good.

Great stay!

Enjoyed our time at this property in Syracuse. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but we didn’t have any issues. Really close to Salt City Coffee which is so good, and the house was perfect for what we needed.
