And a major bonus were the deer that visited the yard every day! The cabin itself was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully outfitted with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Every detail had been considered, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy touches that made it feel like home.Michael was an outstanding host. He met us personally at check-in, gave us a warm welcome, and took the time to walk us through the property and share great local recommendations for activities and restaurants. He remained accessible throughout our stay, which made everything effortless and enjoyable.We’ve stayed in many rentals, but this one truly stands out. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful property

We spent a peaceful (if rainy!) week here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This home is beautiful, bright, very clean and comfortable. This was by far the best appointed kitchen of any rental in which we have stayed (and we have used VRBO for many years on multiple continents). Highly recommend this home!

Perfect Getaway

This property is just what the doctor ordered! It had all of the important things covered, cleanliness, convenience, comfort, etc.. What sets this property apart from the others is the feeling of tranquility you get while staying there. The property is very private and the area around it provides excellent outdoor activities. Hiking trails abound nearby and are easy to get to. For a more challenging experience ask Michael about 4x4 trails in the area. Michael is a wealth of information about the area and is an excellent ambassador for it. I will definitely be staying here again!

Great retreat near Shenandoah

Was a wonderful trip to get a way for a few days and enjoy the outdoors. The host, Michael, is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of all the key places you’ll not want to miss out on. The home is beautiful, clean and quiet. I wish we had more time to spend and explore the area. Hoping to have a repeat trip in the future with more than three days to spend in the area.
