Take your next Lake Tahoe vacation to this beautiful home in Tahoe City! Located just minutes from town and local beaches, this large family friendly home offers amenities for all ages.

Enjoy Zen Mountain Retreat, in a central location to be minutes from town, endless hiking and biking trails, and nearby the local favorite beaches. After a day of exploring, return home and enjoy your own bocce ball game, pool table, or soak in the hot tub beneath the stars.
This is a great place for kids and pets with a fenced yard, built-in-play structure, and many family friendly games for them to enjoy.

The lower level entry includes a open mud room with access to the two car garage, the rec room with pool table pub height seating and TV, the bunk room and a king ensuite bedroom. The lower level also includes a bathroom and laundry area.

Upstairs is a beautifully designed open floor plan with space for the entire family to be comfortable together! Enjoy the large dining room table and breakfast nook off the updated kitchen, oversized sectional facing the cozy fireplace and media center with sliding doors to the sunny deck and hot tub! You also have a bathroom, king sized bedroom, and king ensuite bedroom.

Location:
While some may want to stick around the house and have a fun day at the property, perhaps others will want to venture out to the local ski spots like Northstar (13 miles away) and Palisades Tahoe/Alpine Meadows (10 miles away). Enjoy Skylandia Beach and Lake Forest Beach just a short drive from the home, make sure to stop by Sugar Pine Cakery for a sweet treat!

Parking:
Parking is available for 4 cars total. All cars must park in the garage or on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 10 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

One of our favorites in tahoe so far!

Great location, well-stocked kitchen, and a great layout! We stayed with 3 couples, 3 babies, and a nanny and we had plenty of space! Can't wait to return!

Family Fun @ Zen Mountain Retreat

This home is well equipped and very comfortable. Great accommodations for gathering friends and family. Everyone gets a nice room. While we don't have young kids, this home is well suited for them. The living space has ample, comfortable, seating and the kitchen is exceptionally well appointed for a rental property! Neighborhood is great; walkable with beautiful views, close to town, restraunts and grocery. Pool table and hot tub were nice amenities. Property management was responsive, which was a huge plus for us during our snow filled adventure! Highly recommend.

Wonderful Family Home!

This house had everything our three families needed for a comfortable and wonderful Thanksgiving week in Tahoe! The kitchen is fully stocked, and the living room/dining area is nice and open, allowing lots of people to comfortably lounge between the rooms. I would absolutely stay there again, and I highly recommend it to others.

It’s a beautiful place, in a great community The cabin is equipped with everything you need and more. The only negative is no Air conditioning, which I knew about. But we hit it at a very hot time and there was no breeze at all. Not the owners fault, but it did make it pretty uncomfortable at night. The fans helped and they have a lot of fans, so that was nice. Otherwise the place is amazing! I’d rent it again and let others know about it. Thanks for letting us enjoy you beautiful cabin.

Things were not cleaned, floors, beds looked like they had been slept in and made by the previous renter. The Bbq didn’t work, there was dog poop in the back yard which need some care as there are spider webs everywhere. And we could not figure out the fireplace even following instructions. The office was quick to help with some of these things. As far as the house. Great location, quiet and comfortable. Great to have the extras as we used the hot tub everyday and there were things to play with. Definitely would stay again. Tahoe rental just needs to do a sweep making sure everything is ready to go for guests.
