The cabin was clean and ready for guests. Before we arrived, the host stopped by to turn on the lights for us. As we arrived, we took a wrong turn (didn't follow directions...) and the host's husband tracked us down and led us to the cabin. Stay was awesome. We found our cabin quickly because we had instructions from owner. But address wasn’t correct, no sign at entrance, so our daughter could not find us tell we talked to her. Had everything we could possibly need to complement our cooking. Good beds, good appliances, huge rooms, beautiful interior wood walls & floor. Pieces making up the doorways were exceptional. We had a great time.Could have used more outside area for hosting small gathering, ( meaning picnic table, outdoor chairs more than two, maybe some more pavers to give an area off the grass. I’m very allergic to chiggers)Overall, we loved the cabin. Thank you Katie & husband & sons.

Relaxing getaway

Such a beautiful cabin! Clean and set up so comfortably, I felt so relaxed and at home as soon as we stepped in the door. We couldn’t find the hairdryer, but otherwise all of the basic necessities were provided, and I was impressed by the abundance of extra pillows and blankets and that the tv was hooked up to cable. We were in town for an event, so we didn’t spend much time at the house, but I wish we had planned to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful location and outdoor amenities. Definitely make time to use the fire pit if you can! I personally feel they went above and beyond to prepare the cabin and I highly recommend!
