Welcome to Mountain Haus, a spacious alpine retreat in Mountain Village designed for unforgettable group stays, ski adventures, and relaxing mountain escapes year round. Ideally located near the Sundance ski run with scenic trails just outside your door, this luxury mountain home combines elevated comfort, breathtaking views, and easy access to everything Telluride has to offer.

Inside, expansive picture windows fill the home with natural light while showcasing stunning mountain scenery. The open concept main living area features vaulted ceilings, a cozy fireplace, and a chef’s kitchen with premium stainless steel appliances, perfect for gathering after a day on the slopes or trails.

With two separate living rooms across different levels, guests have plenty of space to spread out and unwind. Each living area includes its own fireplace and private balcony, creating inviting spaces for morning coffee, après ski cocktails, or peaceful evenings overlooking the mountains.

One of the home’s standout features is the private guest suite complete with its own kitchen and bathroom, ideal for extended family, grandparents, or guests seeking additional privacy during their stay.

After a day exploring Telluride, relax in the private hot tub beneath the alpine sky, fire up the grill for dinner, or gather together for a cozy evening by the fire. Families will also appreciate the dedicated nursery space with a crib, making travel with little ones easier and more comfortable.

Ski Access
This property is not a direct ski in/ski out, but guests can easily access the Sundance run with a short walk. From the end of Cabins Lane, turn left on San Joaquin and within approximately 200 yards you can ski down Sundance to Lifts 1 and 10 in The Meadows, offering access to both beginner and advanced terrain.

Transportation and Parking
Free parking is available for 2 vehicles, including 1 garage parking spot.

Dial-A-Ride shuttle service is also available within Mountain Village during operating seasons, providing convenient transportation to ski access, shops, restaurants, and village attractions. Access information will be provided before check in. Please note this service is not available during offseason periods.

Seasonal Information
The Gondola closes during spring and fall offseason periods, typically April to May and October to November. During these times, some restaurants, shops, and activities may have limited hours or closures.

Altitude Notice
This home sits at nearly 10,000 feet elevation. Guests sensitive to altitude are strongly encouraged to rent an oxygen concentrator through Oxygen Delivers prior to arrival. Staying hydrated and drinking electrolytes can also help reduce the effects of altitude sickness.

Starter Supplies
The home includes a starter supply of 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and 2 rolls of paper towels per kitchen to help you settle in comfortably. Should you need additional supplies during your stay, Village Market is conveniently located just 5 minutes away.

Important Information
• Guests must be at least 25 years old to book
• No pets allowed
• No air conditioning. A/C is uncommon in Telluride’s alpine climate
• 4WD or snow tires may be required during winter weather
• Spiral staircases provide access to certain guest rooms and the wellness area and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations
• The nearby Telluride Golf Club is private and reserved exclusively for members and their guests
• Summer construction projects may occur in the area between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM

Pet Policy
Unauthorized pets will result in $700 penalty. Exterior entry areas are monitored by security cameras in compliance with local regulations.

WiFi is available throughout the home for streaming, browsing, and remote work when service conditions allow. Please note that mountain weather and the remote alpine location can occasionally impact internet reliability and cause temporary outages.

Early Check In & Late Check Out
Early check in between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, when available, is $100.

Late check out up to 12:00 PM, when available, is also $100.

Payment requests will be sent through the online travel agency platform.

Travel & Weather
Guests are responsible for monitoring local weather and road conditions, especially during winter months. Weather events, road closures, and resort operations are outside of our control. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen disruptions including weather, illness, travel delays, or emergencies.

While we want every guest to have an incredible stay, refunds cannot be provided for circumstances outside of our control including weather events, ski resort closures, road conditions, flight disruptions, natural disasters, or personal emergencies.

House Expectations
We kindly ask that you treat Mountain Haus with the same care and respect as you would your own home. Any damages, excessive cleaning needs, or violations of house rules may result in additional charges.
