There were many good things about this condo. The location was quite good. It was only about a 10-15 minute walk to all the shops, restaurants, etc. downtown. It was an easy walk to lift 7 for rapid access to skiing, or alternatively a few more steps to the sheltered shuttle bus pickup site to be taken to the base of the gondola, running every 15 minutes. We had actually stopped in Montrose to pick up additional family members from the airport and decided to do grocery shopping there, thinking it would have more selection at less of a cost markup. However, when we did go to the very close market (only a few minutes walk away) we were amazed regarding the very large selection and overall reasonable prices as well. The condo itself had 3 on-suite bedrooms (1 on the first floor and 2 on the second floor) so that everyone could easily have time alone. Everyone remarked upon the quite comfortable beds. On the third floor was the spacious open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. I was pleasantly surprised to also see many staples, condiments, spices, etc. in the pantry and refrigerator that could be used without having to buy entire containers for only one week of use.The major con was insulation/noise issues. Although we did not wear shoes or boots in the house the repetitive climbing of 3 flights of stairs by everyone was noisy. On the third floor one could hear conversations of people walking on the street
