A true ski-in/out condo located in the heart of Mountain Village. This condo appeals to a wide variety of guests as its location is the perfect launching pad for adventurers who wish to enjoy all that Telluride has to offer - effortlessly!

The condo has an open floor plan and has made creative use of its space. It provides guests with a secluded main bedroom (with a Jacuzzi tub with mountain views), and two cozy lofts equipped with comfy sleeping areas. Then it has a separate living space, including the dining room, living room, and kitchen located on the same level. The pull-out couch, well-appointed gourmet kitchen, TV with Bose soundboard, small porch with gas BBQ grill, and separate bathroom permits guests to all hang out, while the main provides its own idyllic, romantic environment.

For winter wonders, the condo is steps away from Ski School and from two key chair lifts. It is literally two minutes away from the Main Gondola which takes you to the town of Telluride. This location is also incredible because it is surrounded by delectable restaurants, cafés, and shopping. At your backdoor, an ice rink lays glittering, while in the summer the same path leads to a fabulous venue for outdoor concerts and a plethora of exciting events hosted by the prestigious Mountain Village. Whether you are a family with ski-happy kids, a couple looking for a romantic getaway, an avid mountain biker, or a festival-goer, this is the place for you! it was very clean and great set up. There is always something to do in Village Mountain and anytime I needed something I messaged the and had quick responses. I was able to grill a couple of times and I cook daily. I had everything I needed to do so.

Location, location Perfect location

Our stay was fantastic and we have already decided to book this same listing when we come back. You simply can’t beat how close this location is to ski school, the main lift, the gondola and the Village. The room faces the lift with great views of the mountain. Although there is no designated parking, it’s super easy and convenient to use covered Heritage public parking. The only knock is there is little room for privacy given the second floor is open to the first and the third floor loft opens to the 2nd floor bedroom. Therefore, when one person wants to go to bed, you all pretty much have to go to bed. That was fine with us, so just an fyi. I’d still make it a top pick just for the location.

Great location

This Condo was just steps away from the gondola available to take you to and from the town of Telluride. This is 5 star for location. We didn't leave a 5 star due to the fact that the railing on the balcony was wide enough that our almost two year old could easily fit his entire body and head through it, making it a dangerous situation for little ones. The balcony railing wasn't quite as wide, but his entire body could slip through. This made us need to be extra watchful when we were at the condo. Just a warning to parents. Mot sure how this passes building codes. The sleeping arrangements are fairly tight, with only one private room. Other than the things listed we loved our stay.

A gem in Mountain Village

The perfect place to stay for a girl gang of 3 in Mountain Village! This condo is such a great location and just a short walk from the lists, restaurants, etc. We each had our own bed and were very comfortable in the condo. I am the shortest in the group so I took the bed on the stairs. I'm 5' 4" and had to sleep diagonally to avoid hitting my head but that was not a problem! Would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity on my next trip to Telluride.

Very convenient

Steps from village express, centrally located in mountain village . It’s accurate that you have to walk and there are a set of stairs! But once you’re at the unit it’s quiet easy, I recommend using Blue Mesa bus stop as pick up and drop off point if you are just doing a shuttle. Quaint unit that I really recommend. Just know the ladder on the loft is NOT FIXED. 3 adults is comfortable and 4 max. Then maybe the 5th could be a kid. Nice clean and well stocked place. Steam shower was cool especially with the dry weather . Humidifiers in the unit but some of them no longer expel moisture . Ski locker very convenient. Overall recommended if you want a mountain village stay.

Perfectly located apartment. Super convenient for lifts, access to the gondola for the supermarket and restaurants and bars. The kitchen is well appointed and the outdoor BBQ is great. We would stay again.

Great find!!

This property was awesome! It is close to everything and has everything needed. We will definitely be back! There are a few things to consider for future renters. If you have any issues climbing stairs, this place may not be for you. Also, you should check the propane in the grill as ours was completely empty even though the check in form said it was full. The sweet neighbor let us borrow her propane tank so it all worked out.

Charming Condo in Mountain Village Core

This condo is perfect for a couple who wants true ski in-ski out. My husband and I have stayed here four times over the past 8 years. This was the first time under VRBO/Vacasa management. Vacasa was fine and the communication was clear and thorough. I will say that over the past 8 years, this property has declined. It is time for a refresh and it needs maintenance. There are things in true need of repair. This condo is truly in the heart of the Core and you can't get any closer to the lift and gondola. The pros of this property is its location. It is perfect. The steam shower is also awesome after a day on the slopes. The cons of this property, there is no parking and even more importantly, there is no drive up to the building. Moreover, there is no elevator, so you must climb steps to the second floor. This is important to note when you're schlepping luggage, ski gear and groceries from a drop off from, at best, Blue Mesa condos approximately 200 yards away. This is not a place for anyone that isn't up for that physicality. The other thing to note is it is directly over the Crazy Elk Pizza. Be prepared to smell pizza and strong oregano during your stay. It's not bad, but it is strong. The pizza is good so be sure to enjoy some! The location is what makes this property special and it is cute and cozy.

Nice Condo in a prefect location in Mountain Village, but a terrible management company

The condo was very nice, and big enough for our family of 4. There is a well done master bed (queen size) and a loft on the stairs (also queen size) and a small loft in the master (twin size). Also there is a great master bath whirlpool tub that our boys loved. The property is right in the middle of all of the restaurants and shops in Mountain Village and is a short walk (1 min) walk to the free gondola down into town and to upper MV. But the management company was pretty bad. This was our first time to Mountain Village. The management company did not provide any instructions for arrival or how to get to condo. When we arrived, it turned out that there is not vehicle access directly to the condo complex. We had to call the management company three times before they gave us any meaningful directions to the property. Then they sent us the code for the unit, but did not send us the code to get into the building. They said that it code was in our "Arrival Email and Arrival Text" - but they were not. I had to call the building manager to get the code, since the management company would not pick up the phone after 4:00 PM. Then when I called them about the problem with the building code and arrival email/text, they were very rude and tried to blame me for the problem. It turns out that there were more detailed arrival instructions on their website, but they never pointed us to those instructions. Then I texted and called multiple times about missing supplies in the unit. They wanted us to put all of the linens in plastic garbage bags that they had forgotten to leave for us. I never heard back from them after multiple texts and voicemails. We ended up having to get bags ourselves. I give this rental 4 stars because the property was very nice and in the perfect location in Mountain Village. Plus the owners obviously take great care about the property. But they should definitely dump Latitude 38 as their management company. I give them 0 stars for their treatment of gusts.
