This truly unique property offers couples or small families the chance to stay in a converted private jet that was once owned by an international cartel. Since then, it’s been transformed into a chic, one-of-a-kind retreat set on the grounds of a farm in peaceful Pembrokeshire. Just 3 miles away from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this is the perfect base for seaside adventures together. Popular nearby beaches include the golden sands of Saundersfoot Beach and Coppet Beach (both within 5 miles), scenic Monkstone Beach (5.5 miles), and the various stretches in buzzing Tenby (5.5 miles). In each of these popular resorts, you’ll be spoilt with a wide range of seaside shops, traditional Welsh pubs, and plenty of places to either eat in or take away – fish and chips on the sand! Inland, days of family fun await at Manor Wildlife Park and Heatherton World of Activities (both within 2 miles).
This property retains the spirit of the 70s while offering a touch of luxury. Step in via the front or rear entrance and be welcomed aboard by the plane’s original attributes skilfully reimagined into a superior getaway experience. The cockpit, now a gaming area, lets you enjoy flight-themed games and fulfil your dream of flying from the comfort of authentic pilot and co-pilot seats. Beyond the cockpit, the main cabin is decked with six leather seats featuring dropdown tables, and a plush leather sofa sets the stage for memorable gatherings or moments of quiet. The heart of the jet plane houses a light-up bar, encased in classic 70s mirrors and boasting padded leather upholstery. A cosy ambience is ensured thanks to LED lighting, and when it’s time to rest, a charming king-size bedroom awaits with an additional single bed and a sofa that converts to a single – ideal if you’re bringing two children for the journey. Completing the plane’s interior is a handy WC at the rear.
Outside of the plane, guests have access to shared kitchen facilities with everything needed for cooking up light meals or prepping picnics for the day ahead. Meals are best enjoyed in the dining space set in a decorative, gravelled area. There is also a shared utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for throwing muddy gear in. A shared shower block is on-hand to keep you refreshed, and there is private parking for one car.
