You get what you pay for. The room was good sized and clean, but the first thing you notice is that on top of the neatly folded towels are two sets of earplugs. This motel is right on the main drag and thereâs no getting away from the jake brakes on the semis as they rumble through town. Also, thereâs no front desk or personnel at the motel, so any problems are addressed by calling a number that sometimes doesnât pick up. There is a âWellness Roomâ with a sauna and massage chairs, but our room code didnât work to get in and I didnât get a return call until after we checked out. Also, the TV doesnât even have basic cable, so unless you want to stream something on your own app, donât plan on watching anything. So, again, if you want a nightâs sleep in a clean bed go ahead, but if you want to remember Thermopolis fondly, best to stay at one of the hot springs motels.
