Less than a mile from the property, you will find a scenic village green, cricket pitch and three welcoming pubs where you can enjoy a relaxed meal or drink. The surrounding area is rich in heritage, with National Trust favourites such as Scotney Castle (6 miles) and Sissinghurst (11 miles) within easy reach. Bodiam Castle (16 miles) and Hever Castle (16 miles), once home to Anne Boleyn, make for memorable days out. The elegant spa town of Tunbridge Wells (5 miles) is also nearby, offering boutique shopping at The Pantiles and scenic countryside journeys on the Spa Valley Railway.


On arrival, after admiring the brick-and-timber exterior, step into a warm, carpeted lounge with sash windows. A lovely spacious sitting room with high quality comfortable furnishings so you can relax with a film in the evenings on the Smart TV. From here, move through to the bright kitchen/diner, where French doors open onto the garden, creating a lovely indoor/outdoor flow for mealtimes at the stylish table. When it’s time to turn in for the night, you’ll have two comfortable bedrooms upstairs – a king-size and a flexible king-size zip-and-link that can be arranged as a twin on request. Both enjoy peaceful countryside views to wake up to each morning. A family bathroom featuring a rain shower over the bath and WC completes the first floor.


The secluded garden is a true suntrap, so you can make the most of warmer days. You’ll have a patio area with a table and chairs for enjoying leisurely breakfasts, al fresco dinners or quiet moments with coffee. Private parking is available for two cars.
