Tucked away in Torrey! Just off center street, 1 block to middle of town. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants , or Saturday farmers market!

Expansive views from house and large deck across quiet pasture and orchard. Boulder mountain and Cockscomb are just beyond. Deer frequent the backyard many mornings and evenings. Incredible Sunsets and Sunrises!

Spacious main level with living room, dining room, and kitchen in great room for 6 people to connect. Windows on entire south side of great room to enjoy grand views. Updated furniture and 70” TV in living room. Kitchen has island and bar, all with plenty of granite counter top space. Well-stocked kitchen will support a quiet night in. House upstairs layoit was unusual. Stairs were dangerous. Master bedroom did not have an ensuite bathroom. You had to walk down two steps outside of the master bath to get to the full bath.Second full bath was on main level next to laundry room. Other than that the house was roomy and nicely decorated. The outside of the house needs some work. The surrounding houses were in terrible condition.

This was a great location for our visit to Capitol Reef. Downstairs living room and kitchen was huge. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Easy drive into the park and also very close to some great restaurants. We only had a couple of nights so didn't get to fully utilize all of the amenities. BBQ, firepit, and wrap around porch with fantastic views would make this a great place for a longer stay. Easy communication with the host. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome Location

We were looking for something close to town but wanted a private feel. This house met the mark! It had all of the amenities we needed, comfortable beds, and a delightful patio. Having mini-splits to control individual room temperature was an added bonus. Would stay again happily.

Wonderful house near Capitol Reef

Clean, spacious home next to horse fields and tucked away right off the main road of Torrey. Minutes from Capitol Reef. Beautiful scenery. We loved coming back from a day in the park and unwinding in this lovely home. It was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Perfect Stay Near Capitol Reef – Spacious, Comfortable, and Stunning Views!

We stayed here for a couple of nights in March while exploring Capitol Reef National Park, and it was absolutely perfect. The home offers spacious, open living areas that are both comfortable and inviting, making it a great place to relax after a day of adventuring. The views from the property are stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop whether you're enjoying your morning coffee or winding down in the evening.One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible night sky. With minimal light pollution, the stargazing was phenomenal, and I was able to capture some amazing astrophotography shots of the Milky Way and countless stars. If you’re into photography or just love looking up at the night sky, this location is truly special.The house was stocked with all the amenities we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy furnishings that made it feel like home. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for guests. The location was ideal—close enough to easily access the park while still feeling peaceful and secluded.Overall, this was an incredible stay, and we couldn’t recommend it more. If you're visiting Capitol Reef, this is the perfect place to stay!

Lovely home close to Capitol Reef

This was a very clean, welcoming, modern home. The kitchen was well-appointed and everything was easy to find. The views out the large picture windows were lovely. The house is very close to Capitol Reef and is basically downtown Torrey. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this is definitely one of the nicer ones!

Beautiful home!

One of the loveliest homes we have ever stayed in through VRBO. The beds and bedding were also the most comfortable - we really enjoyed our stay here after a long day hiking in Capitol Reef! The outdoor propane fire table with comfortable chairs overlooking a beautiful mountain backdrop was a perfect evening hang-out spot. Would love to stay here again when we return!

Great house close to Capitol Reef National Park

House was clean and spacious. It had all the basic things we needed for our stay. Close to tiny town of Torrey. It was an easy 10 min drive to CR national park. Only complaint is that there are some run down houses and junk in yards and the outdoor area could use some attention. We did sit on the covered porch and enjoyed the peaceful views but this space could be improved some.

Perfect property for our stay!

I can’t say enough about this property! We loved our 2-day stay. The location is ideal if you’re looking to explore Capital Reef N.P. It’s close to a super quaint downtown area with a grocery store, laundromat, ice cream parlor and trading post. Ideal for families with kids. Our children loved walking the short 5-minute walk and exploring the shops. The house is great! Super clean and it seems like the interior was recently remodeled. The host is super friendly and very quick to respond if needed. We especially enjoyed the farm animals across the field and star gazing (INCREDIBLE!) on the back porch. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit this area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Capitol Reef Vacation

We stayed here while checking out Capitol Reed national park. It was conveniently only a 15 minute drive from the park entrance. The family room and kitchen were spacious and the views of the surrounding mountains and farmland was incredible. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home

House is gorgeous-spacious and clean! We enjoyed the short time we were there. Had an issue with the oven not working, but property manager came right over and although they weren't able to fix it, the owner did compensate us for our dinner out which we greatly appreciated. Nice general store within walking distance with close proximity to restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

I was a bit skeptical to see a property receive so many 10/10 ratings, but after staying at this house, I have to agree. The house was EXTREMELY CLEAN! The kitchen was stocked with all the items that you'd expect. Note that November through March (non-peak tourist season), the selection of open restaurants in town is limited. The "bucolic views" did not disappoint, we enjoyed our view of horses and cattle out the great room and kitchen windows. We even saw deer in the backyard (March, when there was snow in the mountains).

Convenient location to Capitol Reef

Convenient location to Capitol Reef if you are not staying at the NP campground. Were there after Thanksgiving so many of the restaurants in Torrey were closed. But we knew this going in. The house was very nice for six adults. Could use a bit of wall decor. We were very satisfied with our choice. Actually chose this house over several others because it had a large dinning room table for us to play cards and other games each night.

Great spot

This house was great. Views were fantastic, we enjoyed happy hour on the back patio watching the sunset. Very short walk to the town and short drive to Capital Reef NP. Highly recommend this place.
