Cabin Name: Stairway to Heaven

Welcome to "Stairway to Heaven," a stunning 3-bedroom/3.5 bath mountain home located in the Laurel Valley Community in Townsend, TN. This wonderful cabin has 4 floors of space to keep your family feeling at home during your vacation. The open floor plan allows for the family to spread throughout each floor for maximum fun!

The main floor features a SPACIOUS LIVING ROOM with a gas fireplace, open beam ceilings & a BREATH TAKING MOUNTAIN VIEW. The sectional sofa is very comfy with lots of throw pillows and ottomans for additional seating. The large 55" flat screen TV sits atop the fireplace mantle for easy TV watching. On the rear side of the living room is a sliding door which is open to the beautiful deck with gorgeous mountain views. The FULLY EQUIPPED gourmet kitchen sits off to the side with tons of counter space and eat-in tables. Please note that there is room for 6 people to eat at one time. The kitchen is a wonderful place to cook a meal for your family while taking in the breathtaking mountain view from any of the 3 windows. A high chair is provided for those with small children.

The next floor down houses TWO MASTER BEDROOMS. Both bedrooms have king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms & SPECTACULAR MOUNTAIN VIEWS. One of the masters also has a large flat-screen TV.

The next floor door has the 3rd bedroom, which has TWO queen-sized beds and a LARGE FAMILY room for the kids to hang out. The family room has a set of bunk beds with a full on the bottom and twin on top. The sofa is a futon which makes in to a full-size bed for more sleeping space. There is also a full bathroom with a stand-up shower off the family room. The family room has games for kids and another TV.

THE GAME ROOM - The lowest level of this home, the 4th level down, has a game room with a foosball table and an arcade game. Great place for the kids or adults to hang out late into the night or during a rainy day in the Smokies.

Every level of this beautiful home has a deck with a great mountain view, as well as free wifi.

We do not accept pets in any of the cabins without specific written approval from management. Only those dogs that have specific and formal training as a SERVICE dog will be allowed in our cabins. Emotional support animals are not accepted.

IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day

*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.

FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit.
