Donner Lake is a gem in the mountains; families have been vacationing there for generations and all agree that the recreation and vibe of the small lake community are timeless and wholesome. During sunny months the beaches are the perfect place to play and relax. Boating, paddle boarding, grilling lakeside, and all sorts of fun beach activities are available. Hiking, biking, etc. During winter months, the ski and snow recreation is excellent.

Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of a few locked closets.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful- obviously recently renovated. Owners made it perfect right down to the details. It was conveniently located near West End beach which is great for kids. It was on the high end as fas as price, but you get what you pay for. We had a lovely time and would definitely choose it again.

Modern, Great Location, Absolutely Cute

The owners did an awesome renovation of the space and utilized every corner of the house. It is beautifully decorated with ultra soft carpets and super comfy couches and beds. They even had a grill, table and chairs, as well as lounge chairs right outside. The location was perfect - not too far from the beach and practically walking distance. It was a perfect rental for my family. We would definitely come back. Some quirky details to be mindful of: We aren't a tall family (all less than 5'6") and so we had no problem with walking around but there areas in the house that might be something to get use to if you are tall. It was really just at the stairs and at the bathroom where there were low spots, but the rest of the house would be as usual.

Awesome little cabin with a great location!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4, with easy access to West End Beach (fee-based, for those who don’t know) and the kids’ summer camp at Boreal. Cabin was cozy and super clean, kitchen well stocked, beds were comfy, and the hosts were great. Couldn’t ask for more!

Quick Getaway to Our Favorite Family Vacation Lake

This newly remodeled cabin is a clean, comfortable and well-furnished landing spot for enjoying Donner Lake. The owners seem to have taken a lot of effort to make this rental appealing to both small groups of adults or families with children. Unlike other vacation homes in which we have stayed, the beds are comfy! Although not huge, the living room is furnished such that many people can comfortably hang out in the seating areas. Most renters will find the kitchen has all the appliances and other kitchen supplies needed to prepare their meals. The best feature of all - both the public and private beaches at the West end of the lake are just across the street and near a crosswalk, so accessing the lake is quick and safe! We would definitely visit this cabin again.

Cozy Cabin

We had a wonderful time staying at Cozy Cabin..it truly was cozy, clean and very comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked and had new appliances, it was a joy to cook in! The beds were very comfortable too! We were directly across the street from beach/lake, which we enjoyed and a nice neighborhood to take daily walks. We would definitely stay here again!
