From the vaulted redwood ceilings and natural light to the spacious deck and private dock, this home boasts unbelievable spaces to relax both indoors and out. Relax and watch the calm waters of the lake from nearly every room in the home, especially from the living area where you can cozy up with a good book in front of the wood-burning brick fireplace (bring your own wood!). Come summer, everyone can congregate on the deck or out on the private dock and dip their toes in the water. Be sure to set aside some time each evening to soak in the private hot tub and watch the distant mountains turn purple as the sun goes down on the lake.

The Sierra Nevadas are a playground for all sorts of people. In the summer, the lake is filled with boats of all kinds and people wakeboarding, fishing, swimming, and just sitting in the sun. The mountains around the lake are great for hiking, mountain climbing, and biking. In the winter, those same mountains are filled with snow -- Sugarbowl, Donner Ski Ranch, Tahoe-Donner, and Boreal are all right there. In any season, Truckee is a great town to explore for shopping, dining, or catching a game at the Bar of America.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
