Treat yourself or your partner to a luxurious stay at this truly delightful home around 2.5 miles from the centre of Truro. Itâs located on the grounds of the ownerâs home, right in the heart of the Cornish countryside, so youâre guaranteed a restful break. You can take lovely strolls along the Tresillian River (500 metres), and when itâs time to see the sea, youâre just 10 miles from the golden sands of Pendower Beach.
The lodge has a lovely wooden exterior and is all laid out on one level. Inside, youâll have a spacious, light-filled living area with dual-aspect windows, including sliding patio doors opening out to the garden. A colourful decor creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Thereâs plenty of space for relaxing after fun days out exploring, with a cosy sofa, armchair and Smart TV. The super-king-size bedroom can be arranged as a twin upon request, and features an en-suite shower room boasting a luxurious walk-in double-head shower. Head through the patio doors to reach a charming, covered seating area, equipped with stylish furniture and a charcoal BBQ so you can sizzle up tasty feasts. The enclosed garden also includes additional bench seating and a sunny lawn where you and the dog can sunbathe together. Thereâs private parking for one car and a handy outdoor tap for rinsing off after countryside adventures â especially useful for cleaning muddy boots or paws!
This home makes a wonderful base for exploring the Roseland Peninsula (10 miles) and further afield, the delightful Bodmin Moor, with its rugged hills and charming villages (25 miles). The waves of Cornwallâs North Coast (15 miles) will be a hit with surfers.
