Aldea Zama is a very secure and safe area. There is security staff patrolling 24/7. Police are seen on a regular basis too. Our house has a security system which includes an electric fence, cameras, and security locks. The system works with an independent battery.

We recommend using our van services by the hour or day. Airport transportation is also available. Renting bikes is also a good eco choice to get around Tulum. Taxis are always available in the neighborhood. We can always order a taxi for you to pick you up at the house. Car rentals are also very close to the house.
✢ Tulum is a city under construction so construction noise should be expected. We truly appreciate your understanding.

✢ The Unit is located in a quiet community, loud noise is not allowed after 10 pm.
✢ Only registered guests in the reservation are allowed to enter the premises.
✢ No external personnel or guest are allowed (for security reasons).
We will provide drinking water for stay, if extra water jugs needed you can purchase them in the local store near the house. In Mexico tapped water is undrinkable and also should not be used for cooking. Nevertheless, brushing your teeth or washing fruits/vegetables is not an issue.
Disclaimer: Tulum is still a development area and in very rare cases, a power outage may occur. We can call the electric company right away to try to solve the problem, but unfortunately it's a situation we have no control of. We do have flashlights and candles in our house.
Last but not least: Tulum has given us so much, so we try to give back as much as possible. You can help us with reducing your energy and water consumption as well as recycling of glass, plastic, aluminum, cardboard, and batteries. Recycling bins are provided in the house.
