Welcome! This property is very scenic and includes rich and diverse natural settings. A luxurious outdoor rainforest shower set amongst ponga tree logs is a real feature of this property. The nearby creek has multiple areas where a refreshing paddle or swim is possible. Our water is as pure as it gets. There are so many hiking options, most guests don't complete them all over a 2-3 night stay. Alpacas are available to all guests at all times and your hosts are happy to offer an 'alpaca interaction' on request. A 1 minute stroll from your accommodation delivers you to a secluded creek in a beautiful setting. Crystal clear water with a grassy bank and table/chairs set up in the shade, it's the perfect remedy for a hot summers day. The site enjoys the shelter of a couple of mature Totora trees. Provided for your comfort are a 70 litre camping fridge, basic cooking facilities in the outdoor kitchen and a composting loo. We offer 2 sleeping configurations options: Little Treehouse (2 pax) Nestled among mature Totora trees. Includes a queen bed and generous balcony, Very popular with the young at heart. Green hut (2 pax) Much larger with a big sunny deck. Inside is a very comfy queen bed and stunning redwood finishes. Both have outdoor kitchen and amazing views. For 2 person bookings, the bed is automatically made up in the large green hut unless the treehouse is requested. Guests still have access to the treehouse balcony if sleeping in the hut. We are always happy to provide local information and help deciding on the best ways to spend your time in Golden Bay. We do not offer a TV and there is no WIFI in the accommodation but access to internet at our house is available daily from 8am - midday. We encourage people to unplug...play some board games....visit the Alpacas. The property is hilly in some areas so generally suits guests with a normal level of physical ability,
