Living room - pull out queen sized couch (sleeps 1 - I have a foldable mattress that can be placed on top for maximum comfort)

HOUSE RULES:
*Please note that the fob is required to enter and exit the building after the initial access is granted (entry to building, garage and amenties) - loss of fob will incur a charge of $250CAD
*Please note that any damages/stains will also incur further costs
*Please take shoes off at the front entrance
*Please turn lights off when leaving or not using the space
*Please be mindful of the delicate furniture - stains and scratches will incur a charge (i.e. please do not push the chair by the TV stand into the wall - there are dents made in wall due to it being pushed back, be mindful of food/drink on couch/cushions)
*Please cover foldable mattress with sheets or if you're sleeping on couch, must have sheets on top (in closet)
*Please do not step on the balcony windowsill - due to weight not being distributed properly when stepping, there is a noticeable crack that is emerging (loosing sill)
*Please be mindful of scratching your luggage on walls/floors
*Please do not go through any of my belongings that are tucked away - anything missing or used that is tucked away (I.e. clothing/linens) will incur an extra cost
*Towels and extra blankets are in the closest in the main bedroom.
*Please do not wipe make up on towels - use paper towels or wipes
*There is a Rexall and T&T (grocery store) across the street.
*Please do not allow pets on furniture
*Kettle and Keriug - complementary coffee/pods (not for full stay)
*No AC - fans (eco-friendly)
*No parties
*No smoking or vaping
*Quiet time from 10 pm to 7 am

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Ruby's place , it was truly perfect for what we needed!The location is a standout. We parked our car on arrival and didn't touch it for the rest of the trip, everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Having T&T right across the street was such a bonus, along with great food options and a liquor store nearby. The parking spot itself felt safe and secure, which gave us great peace of mind.A couple of small things to flag for future guests, neither of which reflects on the quality of the space itself: being on the 16th floor, it can get a little warm, and as with any downtown location, emergency vehicles pass through at all hours. We'd simply forgotten how lively city noise can be! If you're a light sleeper, pack some earplugs, and you'll be just fine.Overall, a fantastic stay. We're so grateful to Ruby for sharing her lovely space with us and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable place to call home base.

We stayed from March 18th to 21st for a birthday trip. The central location was fantastic—easy access to SkyTrain and walkable. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great, especially the 25m lap pool. Our daughter loved it. The gym was decent. However, the advertised “ocean view” was a disappointment—just a small sliver between buildings, not what we expected. Cleanliness was okay, but there was some dust, and towels could’ve been better. Overall, a solid stay for the location and amenities, though the view claim was misleading. I’d rate it about 3.5 stars.

Awkward! After booking the host informed us that the sleeping options had changed. They were communicative and flexible so we thought it would work out. (Use foldable mattress from closet and pull out bed in living room instead of twin bed in den and pull out couch.) However, when we arrived there wasn’t enough bedding or linens for the arrangements and when we informed the host we were casually dismissed and forced to make other arrangements. The extensive rules provided after the cancellation deadline were overwhelming and off putting. Among all the very specific instructions, the expectation was to not use the only chair provided opposite the couch in the living room. It’s awkward to have a chair in that space but be told not to use it. The space is supposed to comfortably accommodate 4 adults and there is use of the amenities included pool, hot tub, and sauna in the building. However, the only towels provided were so small and thin and not enough for everyone. The place was clean and presentable. The building’s amenities are great. I will also note that the ‘art gallery’ included rather provocative imagery which we found amusing but those with children might find inappropriate.

I had a wonderful stay at Ruby’s condo! The location is unbeatable — just steps from Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain Station, making it incredibly easy to get around Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby. There are many great dining options nearby, including a cozy udon restaurant and a popular breakfast spot. The coffee shop around the corner serves an amazing Matcha Honey Oat Latte, and having both a grocery store and a pharmacy within walking distance was super convenient. Although the area is close to Hastings Street, where some homeless individuals gather, they kept to themselves and never caused any issues. The condo itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and clean. The garbage disposal system was quite educational and eye-opening! As a homeowner, I did notice a few dents here and there, but they didn’t affect our stay at all. Ruby’s detailed instructions and helpful guides made everything smooth and easy, and I even left a few extra pamphlets for future guests. The weather in mid to late September was perfect — we didn’t need a fan, and the cool nights made it cozy. Enjoying coffee on the balcony each morning became my favourite ritual. The city view stretches far and feels peaceful. The unit was also ready before check-in time, which worked perfectly for my early arrival. If I visit Vancouver again, I’d stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for hosting us, Ruby!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment, and the location made it easy to walk the area and leave the car parked in the garage. The owner is a gracious host and quickly responded to a couple of messages after we arrived. We live in a neighborhood that is typically quiet at night, which is not so much the situation in downtown Vancouver, but we had our earplugs, and the bed is quite comfortable. For us, staying here was a unique experience in a cosmopolitan environment, and we definitely recommend it. Also, we had an exceptional dinner at Tutto Italian Restaurant and Bar. Thank you!

Ruby’s place was the perfect size for us and in an amazing location. It’s close to the sea wall, shops, and loads of great places to eat. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were absolutely stunning. The building felt safe, and the underground parking was definitely a perk.There were a couple of minor things that came up, but Ruby was always quick to respond, very helpful, and kept in great communication the whole time. It did get a little hot, but keeping the windows open helped.One thing I wish I’d known beforehand is that the area has quite a few homeless people. There were some fights and noise related to that, and the park next to the building was often used in ways that weren’t very pleasant. It could make someone uncomfortable if they aren’t used to it, especially since we had small dogs with us.That said, overall, I would stay here again. Ruby was fantastic and really made the experience as smooth as possible.

Very clean and exactly as listing shows. The host was very communicative and fast to reply as well as accommodating. The location was close to a lot of conveniences. The amenities at the location such as the pool was great as well. The only thing to note is in the summers when hot the unit can get a little muggy at night but the fans helped a ton. Since you are in the bustling city the noise during the night can be a bit noisy if sleeping with the windows open, but just bring a portable sound machine and it will drown all that out. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area.

We were a family of 5 with three kids under 10, we stayed in Ruby’s apartment for 2 nights. The apartment is clean and cozy. Doormen upon entry. Supermarket and pharmacy across the street. Fully stocked kitchen. Short walk from Canada place and subway. Nice view from the balcony! Even though the first night was very hot (we came during a heat wave), it cooled down significantly for our second night - no AC. Fans helped but not much. Great communication fromLots of rules which stressed us a bit initially but they are all obvious and reasonable. The area is a bit shady and although we felt comfortable walking during the day, in the evening we were a bit nervous and we come from NYC. We did not use the pool, little sleeping nook off the kitchen (too hot) or garage on our short stay. Overall will stay again - great value, clean space. Thank you for letting us stay, Ruby!

Clean and modern Condo

Condo is very clean with modern style. Only difficulty was the heat in summer. Even with open windows, no way to draw on cooler outside air. Owner/manager very kind and easy to communicate with.
