Cozy modern floating home next to Lonsdale Quay
Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique marina based home. You are in the city, on the water, and surrounded by ocean and mountains.
Just a few minutes walk to city nightlife, trendy restaurants, the Q market and its surrounding stores, beautiful boats, and the art gallery. Stroll along the sea wall on the spirit trail right out your front door. Take a sea bus across to downtown with access to hundreds of restaurants. A very unique private home in the middle of it all!
Bright, clean, cozy, and spacious. We carefully prepared our home to make it as comfortable as possible.
All bedsheets are 100% cotton from 500 thread count to 1500. Super comfy. We use eco friendly no scent detergent only.
Bathroom has good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. 100% cotton soft towels.
Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils. Oil, salt and pepper, and some spices. Espresso machine with milk froster, toaster, vitamix blender, etc.
One gigabyte fiber internet with wifi. The coffee table can be converted into a desk for a workstation.
You will enjoy the whole house during your stay. Downstairs is the kitchen, living room, and a bathroom. Upstairs is two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and balcony.
Self-checkin is offered for all guests. However, if you need assistance I can help via phone or in person. Primary means of communication will be over text messaging on Airbnb.
The house is located in the Mosquito Creek Marina (don't worry, no mosquitos!) and a 5 minute walk from the Lonsdale Quay - an active market with restaurants, shops, the bus terminal and the sea bus to downtown.
There are many restaurants on Lonsdale as well and the closest grocery store is IGA on Esplanade across from the Quay market.
Waterfront park is a 2 minute walk and is dog-friendly. Spirit trail is right out your front door and is a 6.5km walk along the sea wall with tourist friendly information and sensational views that extend all the way to West Vancouver.
We are close to grouse mountain and cypress ski resorts, Capilano suspension bridge, and many other outdoor activities the north shore has to offer. Across the Lions Gate bridge is the world famous Stanley Park. About 1.5 hour drive to whistler directly on beautiful sea to sky highway.
Nearby shopping malls are Park Royal in west Vancouver and Pacific Center mall in downtown.
You donât really need a car. Bus and sea bus are close by and super convenient. Sea bus terminal in downtown is connected to sky train which goes directly to the airport.
There is free guest parking provided for one car (please provide your license plate number ahead of time), and additional paid parking is available at the marina for $20/day.
Nearby is the bus terminal (located at the Lonsdale Quay, a 5-minute walk) which can take you anywhere in North/West Vancouver and Downtown. Hop on the SeaBus for the fastest route to Downtown which runs every 15 minutes - it takes 12 minutes to cross the channel and avoids all bridge traffic.
E-Bikes can be found all along Spirit Trail and throughout the city. Download the Lime E-Bike ride-sharing app and go explore.
We have cable TV, Netflix, etc. Both bedrooms have a TV.
There are a good collections of DVDs, books, and games.
The stand behind the couch can be expanded to a dinner table. 4 folding chairs are in the closet.
