Just book it! The location is fabulous and Alberta could not have been more helpful! She quickly responded to all our questions and helped set up water taxi and provided a list of great restaurants! The flat is equipped with all you need and was great for us to do laundry halfway through our trip. What a great find!!!

What a wonderful historic apartment. It is in an amazing location with almost everything within walking distance. The apartment is very spacious, and everything is clean and updated. The beds are very comfortable and the AC, if you prefer cool, works great.The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. There are a lot of stairs, but Alberta was incredibly helpful and brought our luggage in and out of the apartment on her private lift. We arrived in Venice by train and Alberta helped set up a water taxi which brought us directly to the apartment. Lots of very comfortable furniture and a nice outdoor terrace area.There are a large assortment of incredible restaurants nearby and Alberta has a great list of restaurant recommendations in the apartment. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. Highly recommended.

Bliss in Venice!

The apartment is perfectly located and absolutely beautiful. It is directly on the Grand Canal so very convenient but totally private and very quiet. The bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned, each with its own well appointed bathroom. But the star of the show is the LARGE living area with its huge Venetian chandelier and windows that let in the amazing breeze. The kitchen is beautiful and looks easy to use but we went out for every meal. Our host, Alberta, was very responsive to all my inquiries. She provided private transportation information from the train station for our arrival and even met us at the canal gate for an early Sunday morning departure with a smile on her face! This apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs and made our trip to Venice very special. Thank you for sharing your beautiful apartment with us!

Great place in Venice

Our stay in Venice was amazing. The apartment is beautiful, with all the amenities in an ideal location. Alberta was extremely responsive, helping us with transportation and making sure we had everything we needed. We could walk to everything and even could see the New Year fireworks from the terrace. 5 star stay!

INCREDIBLE!!! A must stay!

I have stayed in many vrbo's throughout the years. This one is hands down the best EVER!!!!! The apartment was stunning! Very spacious, clean, and everything in working order. The location couldn't have been better! I felt totally safe letting my teenagers walk around on their own (the last time I stayed in Venice, I could not have said that in the area we stayed). Alberta our host was extremely gracious, informative, kind and most importantly prompt with communication. I want to go back and stay here again & again! I have never been more satisfied on vacation ever, whether it be a vrbo or hotel. This listing WINS!

Don't hesitate, book now

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better location for your stay in Venice. I simply can't say enough good things about Alberta's listing. The home is historically significant and restored in a tasteful, respectful style that pays homage to the building's history. You'll feel part of Venice as opposed to feeling like a tourist while staying here. The entrance to the home is a short walk along the waterfront, east of San Marco. You'll enter through a magnificent passageway into an original interior courtyard. The unit is on the top floor so be prepared to walk about 4 flights of well kept steps. I believe an elevator is available but we didn't use. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. It's calm, it's quiet, it's easy. Two generous bedrooms are available, each with own full bathroom. Small but well appointed kitchen. And a large, very comfortable living room with ample new windows. My only complaint and it's a very small one, is the windows don't offer any sweeping or impressive views. You can lean out windows to see the small canal below. Alberta made herself readily available. She met us at check in to provide all the information we needed, and then quickly remained invisible for the rest of our trip unless there was an issue that needed addressed. The price for Alberta's unit in late November was on the high side, yet very much worth it. So if the rate meets your budget, book right away! You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Apartment in Perfect Location

Just down the Riva Degli Schiavoni from the Hotel Danieli, this apartment has two large bedrooms, three bathrooms, a beautiful terrace, two living/dining rooms, great kitchen, and a loft with two beds. My son and I stayed here for 4 nights. We found it a great place to stay -- steps from San Marco, the Doge's Palace, the waterbus station, and many fine restaurants. Alberta and her sister were helpful and kind hosts. We give it our highest recommendation.

Wished we could have stayed longer

The apartment was the perfect stay and Alberta was the perfect host. She corresponded promptly with all information including taxi boat pickups right to the front door. We came mainly for the Venice Biennale so it was in the perfect location in between the sites and the other parts of town. Will definitely return.
