Sip coffee on the deck while taking in partial ocean views and spend evenings relaxing inside next to the fireplace. Built in 1930, this darling home is situated in The Avenue, an artsy community located within a mile of the beach. Enjoy close access to the Ventura River Trail as well as the downtown area, boasting tasty eateries, local shops, and cinemas.

After a fun-filled day in the sun, relax on the plush sectional in front of the gas fireplace. Stream your favorite shows and movies on the 55' flat-screen TV with Roku. Feel right at home in the beautifully updated kitchen, outfitted with brand-new stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and all the kitchenware needed. Craft a cocktail while preparing a sumptuous dinner. Enjoy meals together at the wood dining table.

This home has three bedrooms that sleep up to six guests and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed, walk-in closet, and a shared en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed and direct access to the deck via French doors. Freshen up in the second bathroom with a tub/shower combination. All bedrooms offer gorgeous views of Ventura.

The Westside of Ventura, also known as The Avenue, is a vibrant artistic community with a rich history. Stroll nearby Ventura Avenue to visit unique galleries and sample authentic Mexican food. Check out the Ventura River Trail, offering access to the ocean and downtown. For a day in the California sun, walk less than a mile to Surfer's Point at Seaside Park. Relax on the soft sands, go for a swim, or learn how to surf. Walk 10 minutes and find yourself in downtown Ventura. Search for unique vintage clothing, eat local food, and explore the city. In the evening, catch a movie at the Century 10 Downtown. Cruise five minutes to the Ventura Botanical Gardens and go on a guided tour to learn about over 100 species of plants. Enjoy an afternoon at nearby San Buenaventura Mission, a historic Spanish mission church dating back to the 1700s. The site is a 6-minute walk from home.

Not ADA compliant, surrounded by overgrown foliage and rotting fruit, owner of house lives next door, neighbors and owners home are only a few feet from the house, no curtains on the windows facing the owners house, heating vents have soot and intake filter was dark grey, not white, aka dirty, towels are cheap and thin, beds are painfully uncomfortable, the air quality and allergens in the property and surrounding property are unbearable.

Lovely house, good for families, but mgmt company is incompetent, lies and is inflexible

Overall the stay was lovely and the house itself was in good shape. We faced 2 issues & more to do w/management company. 1st, no coffee pot in the coffee maker. We searched everywhere then contacted the Vacasa team via the text thread they had used to communicate previously. They were initially responsive & indicated a new coffee maker would be delivered the next day. We received a text saying it had been delivered - but it was not at the house. They had apparently contacted the wrong local staff (in TX not CA) and the fix offered was to call an 800 number.2nd, and of bigger concern to those who consider renting via this outfit, was we requested an extra hour to check out (from 10am to 11am) because we were stuck in traffic returning to the property. We were told that this was impossible and that the lock combination to the property would be changed at 10am and the cleaners would be showing up at 10am. I've never heard of a hospitality business not allowing a one hour extension for checkout, especially when the checkout time is on the early side already. I will note that the cleaning staff did NOT show up at 10am, so the whole premise of refusing a bit of extra time was just a lie. Unfortunately this situation caused quite a bit of unwanted stress after the end of an otherwise lovely family vacation.So if you rent the house please be mindful that the management company is incompetent, lies, and provides limited flexibility for basic customer service requests.

Family Vacation Casa

Great from start to finish, easy check in and even easier check out process. Loved the location and neighborhood being so close to downtown Ventura. We walked to dinner and lunch many days without thinking of driving and felt safe and secure the entire time. We will gladly be a returning guests for future visits. Our host was a very helpful and amazingly friendly neighbor.

Close to Beaches, Restaurants, Shopping

This property is very close to downtown Ventura, hiking trails, beaches, restaurants and shopping. Ventura has a small town feel even when packed with vistors for big events (X games). There are lots of activities and events happening, but access to beaches and the downtown is within walking distance of this property. Enjoy some great fishing and surfing along the CA coast. Close to harbors for swimming and paddleboarding.

Memorable vacation

The house has a mixed of trendy and traditional touch. There were a family of 5 ranging from 16 - 78. House had lots of amenities in additional to what was listed (cable, laundry soap, coffee, etc.) Located was awesome. Able to walk/run to the beach. Downtown is few minutes away if you want eat or shop around. Grocery store is steps away. This is just a great vacation place. High recommend if you just want to relax.

Great Location!

Great location that’s walkable to great restaurants, shopping and the beach. Used it for our access to great hiking in the area (Channel Islands, Migu Peak, Inspiration Point in Santa Barbara, Santa Paula Canyon) and urban hiking in town. House was very comfortable and well stocked. Owners are very helpful!

Family getaway

Perfect spot for a family of 5 visiting for a week. Great location, short walk to main street and walked to pier/beach, too. Lots of room, everything you need, very nice and clean, beautiful views out windows, great little porch and garden/patio. Hope to be back next year!

Great Home

There were three adults and two children and we stayed for two nights and three days. The home was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was great. The setting was beautiful with lots of trees and plants. The only drawback was the living room. There was just one couch and no other chair which made it difficult for five people to sit and watch TV. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Family Trip

We had a great stay in Ventura. The house was very clean and well equipped. Most importantly it had three bedrooms! It was a great location for our visit to this area of of California. We arrived after visiting Joshua Tree National Park and was only a 5 minute drive to the Ventura Pier for our ferry to the Channel Islands. We were also very close to several beaches. Downtown Ventura had excellent dining options as well. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property

Miles above other short-term rentals! Beautifully furnished and decorated with wonderful, personal artwork. It’s on a slightly busy street, but you’ll never know it when you’re inside or on the deck.
