Cuore Antico - Il Monastero Sul Mare

Located on the highest floor of a 16th-century monastery, part of Vieste’s history and set in the heart of the historic centre, Cuore Antico is an intimate and welcoming residence. Exposed stone walls and original arches envelop the space in a warm, authentic atmosphere, while the windows offer charming views over the old town.

We chose to preserve the original openings of the building. For this reason, there are no internal doors, but only stone arches that separate the two main areas: the living space with kitchen and the bedroom.

The spacious, modern shower is located directly within the bedroom, a distinctive feature that makes the space even more unique.

The bathroom washbasin has been custom-made in Apricena Gargano stone, the same material that characterises parts of the original masonry brought back to light during the restoration.

A harmonious balance between history and comfort, ideal for couples or families of up to four guests, set among the most characteristic and authentic streets of the old town, just a short walk from the sea and Vieste’s beaches.

(The apartment is accessed by climbing several stairs, as is typical of historic buildings of this period.)
