Mediterranean House with garden&pool near Crikvenica

Our idea for this project comes from love for nature, healthy food and living simple in the country side yet close to the sea enough so you can smell the salt in the air. The property includes the whole house with private yard. When you enter the property it assures you privacy behind the old stone walls surrounding the house. You will have a outside solar shower, seasonal pool and sitting area in the yard.

If you love being in nature, you will enjoy staying in our house. Drivenik is a peaceful little village set in Vinodol valley with beautiful nature lanscape surrounded by hills. Our house is completely private but the street as well as the village is inhabited. Citadel Drivenik is seen from the house which is especially beautiful at night. You will also enjoy seeing the skies full of paragliders sailing from the nearby hills. The village is great for walks in nature and you can walk all the way up to citadel Drivenik to enjoy the wiew. The village has a local grocery shop 200 m from the house, as well as cafe bar and post office. You will need a car to get to the sea but it is less than 10 min drive in each direction (Tribalj and Crikvenica on one side and Kraljevica, Jadranovo and Krk Island in the opposite direction). You will have the best chance for sightseeing and exploring the area if you are arriving by car. Rent a car is a good option if you are flying to Rijeka airport settled on the Krk Island.

The house itself was built in 1926 as a typical mediterranean stone house and although renovated recently, most of the authentic details are still kept, yet renewed and refreshed with lots of love. Our stairs creak and we like them that way but we also respect the needs of a modern man so we have all the apliances needed for a good vacation such as dishwasher and washing maschine. Air conditioning and WiFi is also included.
House features 2 spacious bedrooms on the 1st floor with air conditioning and a small living room with flat screen tv and sofa on the ground floor, 6 person capacity total. Fully equiped kitchen featuring dishwasher, toaster, owen, juicer and drip coffee maschine. One bathroom with bath tub and sink and outside we offer a solar shower. Laundry room features a washing maschine.

Children and baby equipment is available, please contact me to make sure you will have everything you need depending on the age of your children.
Pets are very welcome, please just let us know in advance if you are planning to bring one with you.
