Waikoloa boasts sunny days while the views from the lanai never cease to amaze! As you enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail from your (381 square feet ) large lanai, you will have great views of the Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-Bay) and Hualalai Mountain (another currently dormant volcano).
This region of the Kohala Coast enjoys the best weather on the islands with average of ONLY 9 inches of rain annually. Temperatures commonly max around 83 degrees F (27C) Sept-May, and 86 degrees F (29C) June-August.
Stay in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, top-floor ocean view unit that is protected by the winds, while you nap on the loungers with ocean views too! The Vistas are a most convenient place to stay with less than 8 minute walk to the beach or nearby bar/restaurants (closest one located next door).
This master-planned luxury resort has the King's Course originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, JR., is now converted to three nine-hole courses while the Vistas is situated next to the Lakes Golf Course. Across the street is Anaeho'omalu Bay ('A-Bay') located between the Marriott and Hilton Waikoloan Hotels. "Lava Lava" Beach Bar, located nearby, is a fabulous place for a glass of wine or Mai Tai. Sign up for the Dolphin Encounter, Whale Watch Cruises, or stroll the Hilton hotel gardens and take a tram or boat ride. The 'A-Bay' is great for snorkeling (in the mornings) and viewing sea turtles from the beach or in the water!
Our top-floor unit has fabulous views of 'A Bay'! A hammock on the lanai is wonderful for a quick nap, while the loungers are perfect for a coffee or wine. The apartment has many original pieces of art-oils and watercolors from local artists.
All the essentials of home are available to you as well including a lot of BEACH GEAR:
4 microfiber beach towels and regular beach towels, Kids sandcastle toys and shovels, Little fish nets, Noodle floats, Big igloo cooler on wheels, 24-pack Igloo on wheels, Little 6-pack igloo, 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs that include coolers on the back, Various snorkel gear, 2 boogie boards, Pickleball rackets and balls for beach play (create your own net or just don’t use one), Floating frisbee, Nerf football, Volleyball, 2 beach bags, Cooler shoulder bag, Beach mat, Beach umbrella, and Foldable pull-cart.
The STARTER KIT includes: shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand liquid soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, paper towels, and sponge. The kitchen includes mostly new major appliances. You should bring bathing suits and sunscreen.
The master bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and en-suite master bathroom was renovated with double bowl sinks, a shower and tub. There are custom marabou wooden sliders to darken the bedroom room for sleeping.
The second bedroom also has king bed, ceiling fan and plenty of drawers for clothes. There are sliders for privacy. The second (renovated) bathroom is just off the entryway hall and has a toilet, wash basin, and shower. There is a large washer and dryer, both of which are front loaders. Also included are hair dryers, curling iron, clothes iron and board, coffee machine, coffee grinder, kettle, blender etc.
Large glass dining table with seating for 6, in addition to 3 bar stools at the breakfast bar. A wine refrigerator is operational and available for your use. Living room has large ceilings with a ceiling fan, large flat screen TV with cable, DVD player and sound system. Couches both have ottomans for putting your feet up. DĂ©cor is tropical and Hawaii-Aina, with many original pieces from local artists, including those from Peter Jefferson who also heads the Kohala PleinAir Artists. He was featured in “Ke Ola” Magazine, Jan/Feb.2018. Peter’s art can also be viewed at the Third Dimension Gallery at the Shops at Mauna Lani, Gallery of All Great Things in Waimea, Isaac Art Center (Waimea) and Interior Plantations in Kona.
Our lanai has a dining table for your outdoor meals, a wet bar, and did I mention the only 2-person hammock in the complex (that we know of)!
Our complex pool has one of the few heated, large pools- it's a 25-yard salt water pool. There are also 2 hot tubs. A good-sized exercise room is also on the complex grounds with access possible even in the wee hours if you cannot sleep! The workout room is located in the office building where you have access to computer and printer.
The Vistas had been voted as the best value for your money here on the Kohala Coast. We are a gated community with free parking. You will feel welcomed and comfortable. The King's Shops are a few steps away for dining, shopping, or groceries.

We stay in Waikoloa every year and love the location. The weather is nice all year and located by beautiful beaches. This unit was well equipped and provided all the things needed for the beach as well as all the cooking tools for making some meals while enjoying our stay. The best feature this unit has is the views. We thoroughly enjoyed eating on the balcony and looking out over the beach and watching sunsets. The hosts were very easy to contact and they also provide you with an on island contact as well for emergencies. Overall a great stay!

We come to the Big Island every summer and this property is, hands down, the best we've had this far! The view is to die for. The location is perfect for quick walks to the beach, spying on the dolphins at the Hilton, indulging in amazing shave ice, or just relaxing between volcano hikes and stargazing.The property is well-furnished and was a perfect fit for us, including two kiddos. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Great stay in Waikoloa

This was our first visit to Hawaii and I’m really glad we chose this location to stay. The beaches in the area are fantastic. I saw sea turtles at every single beach. The condo was well located in proximity to the best beaches on the island and we enjoyed the convenience to the Queen & Kings shops. Tracy & Carmine had really great recommendations in their notes & all of the available beach/snorkel/cooler equipment was extremely convenient to have.

Spacious and well appointed, everything we needed for our stay. Great location in the center of Waikoloa Beach Resort. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and lovely beach. Beautiful condo in a great location!

This condo seemed very clean and recently remodeled, and had everything we needed plus a lot more. The views and sound of birds from the balcony was great. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful, and we had them all to ourselves most of the time. This might sound silly, but I loved the countertop in the primary bathroom. As I am writing this, I wish I was still there!

Wonderful place to stay

We have been to the big island several times. Waikoloa is definitely our favorite area. The entire resort area itself is beautiful with several nearby sandy beaches and calm water. Our unit at the Vista Waikoloa was exactly what we wanted, up to date, roomy, a short walk to beautiful ABay and to the shopping centers and restaurants, a warm pool and 2 hot tubs, and very few people. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed. The hosts were very responsive, each time getting back to us within a few minutes. Definitely a 5 star place all around, down to the beds and linens!

Unforgettable Views and Comfort at Vista Waikoloa

This was our second trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. After extensive research, we chose this condominium in Vista Waikoloa for its location, view, size, and cost. Upon arrival, the room exceeded our expectations, even more impressive than the photos. The view from the living room was breathtaking, with gentle hills leading to the coast, the sparkling Anaehoomalu Beach, and perfectly placed palm trees creating a serene resort atmosphere. The unique top floor view made us feel we had made the right choice. On the lanai, we were soothed by the sound of rustling palm leaves and birds chirping. The interior was equally impressive, with elegant and spacious furniture. The sofa, dining table, bed, and bathroom layout were ideal. The tasteful furnishings and Hawaiian-themed decor added to the charm. We visited various tourist spots on the Big Island during the day but always looked forward to returning to the condominium in the evening. We enjoyed walking to see the luau show at Kings' Shops after dinner and spending leisurely mornings at the nearby beach. The location was excellent, providing convenience and beauty. Additionally, when minor issues arose, the owner was very responsive via email, ensuring a worry-free experience. Overall, our stay at Vista Waikoloa exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return to this condominium on our next visit to the Big Island for its perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and stunning views.

So lovely

We love the Waikoloa Beach area for its convenience and recreational opportunities. The two bedroom two bath condo property was everything we had hoped for and more. The property was clean, well stocked and spacious. This unit can easily accommodate two couples very comfortably. The kitchen and baths were stocked with many items not usually included, very thoughtful all the way around. The lanai is very large and the views of “A” Bay the the tree canopy from the third floor is just exquisite! The host and property manager were very responsive and accommodating to us during our stay. The whole week was relaxing and revitalizing. We will definitely book this property again if we get the opportunity!

Great stay in Waikoloa

We really enjoyed our stay in Tracy and Carmine's condo and their good communication! They are wonderful to work with. Thanks so much for everything! The condo was even nicer than described, spacious, and is in a beautifully landscaped and quiet area. We especially liked being so close to A Bay, as well as all the stores and restaurants. We were within walking distance or a quick two minute drive. We hope to return in the future.
