Welcome to Hudson Homestead. Not just a house, but an experience! Live your farm dreams in the city on this private, peaceful 1.5 acre oasis w/NO PET RESTRICTIONS. Wake up to collect fresh eggs for breakfast from our coop and make a drink with a fully stocked coffee/tea/juice bar with a true espresso machine, then drink it while rocking on the porch. Bring your pets & take a hike on the trails or head to Falls or Fantasy Lake for family fun. Finish your day relaxing by the firepit, grilling on the patio or taking a dip in the hot tub.
You will find a plethora of well though out amenities on our gorgeous wooded property. Watch the sun set through the trees as you sip a drink on the porch rockers, or the hot tub, or hammock or garden swing. So many areas to enjoy! Truly everything in our property is unique. From the vintage farmhouse decor (sourced at local antique stores) to the beautiful woods. No other properties around allow all sorts of animals, boasts a furnished and decorated 1.5 acre wooded yard, a historic railway, multiple gardens, outdoor hangout areas, outdoor movie theater, gym, hot tub and farm fresh eggs from our very own CHICKENS. Our property is truly one-of-a-kind 'round here!

Vacations should be about relaxing, not chores. You won't have a to-do list and a million rules.
We believe in hosting your WHOLE family. Baby pack n play, safety gate, baby monitor (non-WiFi), toys and high chair on site.
NO PET RESTRICTIONS, bring your dog, cat, bird, gecko, goat, horse, cow etc. (for any animal other than dog or cat, contact Host first for approval and accommodations. Only domestic animals allowed inside, no aggressive animals).
Have your small event on our gorgeous wooded property (with prior Host approval only, fees apply). We even have an outdoor movie theater setup (projector and movable 100 inch screen) you can use for your special day!
*Due to the size of the property, the abundant amenities and the many tasks that need to be completed to ensure a clean and pleasant experience, early check-ins are typically not available. Late check-outs may be available if cleaning schedules and occupation permits, late check-outs must be requested 24hrs in advance and are not guaranteed. Subject to change based on occupancy.
Indoor:
-First floor primary KING Suite with private bathroom.
-Second floor primary Queen Suite with private bathroom.
-Bedroom with twin over full bunk bed.
-3rd floor loft with a twin, a double and a queen bed.
*Sleep cozy and cool with luxury quality linens on all beds, mixture of quilts or cotton linens. Quality hybrid memory foam mattresses with plush mattress toppers that can be removed for those who prefer firmer beds. Feathered or memory foam pillows, thin and thick, plenty of options for all kinds of sleepers! Please care for our bedding so that we can continue to provide all guests with luxury and quality sleep.
Additional Amenities & Spaces:
-Dedicated desk with a monitor (HDMI connection). Ultra high speed wireless internet on every floor for stable connection everywhere.
-Gym room equipped with a weights machine, stair stepper, Echelon Connect Bike and yoga mat/accessories.
-Laundry area with washer & dryer (detergent & softener provided).
-Fully stocked kitchen: blender, sandwich maker, waffle maker, Instapot, air fryer, egg cooker, all utensils, pots/pans, dinner sets, mugs, and more. Even our furry guests can eat from our raised pet bowls!
-Fully loaded Coffee, Tea and Juice bar. Test your barista skills with our real Italian espresso machine (built in grinder). Try your hand at a delicious pour-over coffee with our electric kettle and pour over set. Or just keep it simple with our Keurig. Coarse ground coffee (Keurig/Pourover), coffee beans (for espresso machine), tea bags, local honey and flavored syrups ALL INCLUDED.
-Bar cart stocked with drinking glasses, cocktail mixing set, and wine holders. (no alcohol provided by Host)
-Karaoke machine, toddler/kids toys, board games & books. 3 TVs with Roku. Living room TV includes Netflix, Hulu & Disney+, 1000 different Roku Live TV channels and an antenna with over 40 local channels.
*On the stair walls you will notice an optional hookup for a baby/pet gate, the gate will be in the 3rd floor closet if you'd like to install it during your stay for added safety.
*A Eufy X10 Pro mop/vacuum robot is on site and scheduled to clean every day at 1pm so that guests can enjoy a constantly clean home without having to clean on vacation!
Outdoor:
-True relaxation starts at our brand new 2025 Aquarest hot tub and backyard oasis.
-Bring your hotdogs and marshmallows to our stone fire pit with adirondack chairs.
-Enjoy your meal or drink to the sound of nature and glow of fireflies on our large front porch with rocking chairs.
-Have a BBQ in our back deck hangout area with couches, propane grill, dining set, picnic table, patio umbrellas, & zero gravity chairs.
-Fishing kayak onsite that you can take to Neuse River or Falls Lake (if you can properly transport it).
Want to REALLY enjoy the full outdoor experience? We have a tent in the 3rd floor closet if you want to sleep under the stars in our forest.
Have your perfect photo op or take a walk through history, our back yard backs up to the historic CSX railway! Get the amazing experience of watching a train go by (usually once a day or less)
Last but not least, enjoy farm fresh eggs and the true homestead experience with our chicken coop & run, grain is available onsite for you to hand feed them if you wish. The chicken experience is completely OPTIONAL. They have endless water supply, their own large fenced in area, coop and run, if your pets have a prey drive please do not let the chickens out and leave them in their run.
*Aggressive animals are not permitted on the property. Hosts will tend to the chickens to replace feed every 5 days for long stays unless guests opt to do it.
