Take in a panoramic view of ocean waves, whale spouts on the horizon, and gorgeous nightly sunsets from this light-filled home just up from the beach in Waldport. Walk a few minutes to spend your days beachcombing and boogie boarding, and enjoy a large, ocean-facing deck waiting to welcome you back.

This two-story home is located in Wakonda Beach, a small oceanfront community that sits three miles south of downtown Waldport. To reach the beach, you need only cross the Oregon Coast Highway. This is a wonderful location for exploring the greater Central Oregon Coast, with Yachats, Cape Perpetua, and Thor's Well less than eight miles away. Drive just a bit further to visit the renowned Oregon Coast Aquarium (17 miles), Newport (19 miles), the Heceta Head Lighthouse (19 miles), and the Sea Lion Caves (20 miles).

This home was built to showcase its magnificent setting, with the ocean on display both upstairs and down. The open living space on the main floor is lined with windows, so you won't lose sight of the view as you watch movies on cable and streaming, play board games at the dining room table, and prepare homemade meals using stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

Catch the sunset on the deck each evening and head upstairs for movie nights in the den. Of the bedrooms, one is a primary suite on the main floor and two are upstairs - including one with incredible ocean views. Additional features of the house include central air, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
