We arrived around 6:30pm and were out back relaxing on the deck as a family, to celebrate my husband’s birthday, when a random guy from 2 houses down came peddling the hydro bikes over to our dock, stating that he knew the owner and had forgot to return them after borrowing them. It was very awkward because we just got settled in to relax and then had to allow him to go through the property twice once he returned each one. One of the hydro bikes worked very well and one had a loose seat and the chain kept popping. The location and community was very nice and the inside of the property was sufficiently clean. However, the hot tub was not clean. The water level in the hot tub was low and it had gunk right above the water line that I had to clean out myself before we let our daughter get in it. The grill was not clean and looked as if it has melted plastic on it, so we had to clean it thoroughly before using it. The beds are all full size so it was perfect for me but not my tall husband. The ice maker on the refrigerator never made any ice while we were there and the water filter had not been replaced. They did have kcups for the coffee machine and a little s’mores gift upon arrival, so I did think that was thoughtful! We did have a great time as a family overall once we looked past everything that matters to us for the rate we paid.
