Standing high on the hill, the castle itself is the magnificent historic focal point of the village and can be seen from the cottage. The wonderful sandy beach of Studland (8.5 miles) is an easy drive from the property, great for boating, paddling and swimming, while the more lively resort of Swanage (6 miles) can be reached via a heritage steam train service. Swanage is home to a lovely pier, Peveril Point, Ballard Down, Swanage Bay and Durlston Country Park. A wealth of nearby attractions include Lulworth Castle, Kingston Lacey, Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre and Durdle Door, all within 18 miles.

Stepping inside, this delightful stone cottage has been lovingly updated to provide light, cosy and airy accommodation with fresh, neutral decor throughout. At the end of a long day exploring the idyllic Isle of Purbeck area, sit back, relax and unwind in the spacious and airy lounge, which is furnished with plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a welcoming open fire in a stone surround, perfect for quiet evenings in watching a favourite film. The cheerful country-style kitchen/diner is a fantastic room with plenty of equipment so you can rustle up all your favourite meals, which you can enjoy together around the sociable dining table which overlooks the garden through the French doors. Heading upstairs, you will find two pretty bedrooms. The first is a charming light-filled room with low ceilings, skylights and a sumptuous double bed. The second is a delightful bunk bedroom with French doors opening out onto a sweet balcony which makes a relaxing spot for enjoying a morning cup of coffee with views towards the castle. The bedrooms share a stylish and invigorating shower room.

Outside, a sunny patio area with garden furniture opens onto a fantastic lawn garden. With apple trees and plenty of space for lawn games and activities, this is the perfect place to spend lazy sunny afternoons. p>
