The Space:

Easy access to Washington DC with a free trolley from the corner on King Street to the metro. Alexandria is only 8 miles from DC and is a lovely historic town with a lot of charm. Many historic houses, close to Mount Vernon estate, water front with water taxi to Georgetown, National Harbor and MGM. Tons of antique shops, restaurants and bars all along King Street as well as the Market Square every saturday morning for fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers and much more just across for our building.



Guest Access:

This is a small but charming apartment in the heart of the historic district of Old Town Alexandria. You will experience Washington DC and Alexandria, Virginia at the same time. Access to the building and apartment are all keyless and coded. Just a heads up, the door code will be sent one day prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Historic town with enormous character and charm. Shops, restaurants, bars, walk and bike trails, metro and trolley, waterfront full of activities, ice cream, doggy happy hour at the Alexandrian Hotel next door, all this and more within walking distance. Just a hop away from the museums and all the other cultural activities, Kennedy Center in DC. Saturday morning farmers market on Market Square just across the street in front of Town Hall.



Getting Around:

Half a block to King Street is a free trolley that runs regularly to King Street metro. You can hop on and off all day. Parking on the street is plentiful. If you prefer underground parking, Hotel Alexandrian allows non-guest parking for a fee. There is also an open air private park about two block north on St Asaph which is more reasonable.



Other Things to Note:

There are stairs leading to the apartment as well as to the one bedroom which is in the loft. The loft has a dormer ceiling which makes it very low on one side and overall low ceiling for the bedroom. Washing machine and dryer are coin operated and are located in the basement.



There is a $1,000 fine for any sign of smoking in addition to cost to replace any damaged items. There is a $1,500 fine for partying, including large number of unauthorized guests and sustained elevated noise. All unapproved late checkouts will incur a $25 per hour fine.
