Host family dinners inside using the fully remodeled kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances and great views or sit out on the furnished deck to listen to the birds with a good book in hand. When the sun starts to dip behind the treetops, throw a few logs on the firepit and tell stories until the sky is filled with dazzling constellations. If you are looking for a bit of fun indoors, the foosball/slide hockey/billiards table downstairs can assist with friendly competition and two living areas await to be the perfect locations for movie nights.

Not the best

Unlike every other Vrbo we’ve stayed in, there was no information provided as to local restaurants and attractions nor instructions for the tv, no coffee, snacks, bottle of wine or “welcome” of any kind. The lock was broke on a sliding glass door which we wedged closed as it took a day to respond. The rugs were very stained. It definitely did not meet the standards of previous vrbo’s.

Lovely home!

Great house (2 levels) and location

This house was very clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and we loved the deck overlooking the mountains. The listing didn't make it clear that one bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms were downstairs below the main level. This caused an issue with us as we could only use the main level. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this house.

Cleaning Disaster

When arriving at house we found that absolutely no cleaning had been done. Garbage can overflowing, wet towels on bathroom floors, beds with dirty sheets and not made, counters not cleaned. Made 5 calls to VaCasa where they promised to get a cleaning person out, but no one showed. After 3 days we gave up and now we are asking for a full refund.

The Willows: A delight for the senses

We spent three beautiful days at The Willows. It was a sensory delight, from the slightly scented air when we arrived to the amazing views. Beds were comfy, linens were soft to the touch. The house was laid out perfectly for our two adult, three kid family. We loved the eat in kitchen, the clean and comfortable soft furnishings, and the relative privacy the landscaping provided us.

We are very happy to report that we made a virtual appearance at this wonderful VRBO facility, it looked so enticing that we could not turn away our eyes from the advertisement. The service is super and simple. An example: of us seven who wanted to stay there, 3 kids developed a couple weeks before COVID19 and my wife as well as the parents of the poor kids had another virus infect with a bad bronchiolitis. This culminated all 2 days before our annual travel into the blessed North Carolina, so that in accordance with the rules perfectly worked out for the money making owners and VRBO we could neither shift the rental to another time or ask for at least partial refund and therefore had no other options than the virtual one (see above) being stuck with. Well everyone is reimbursing me now with 1/7 of the costs to offset my payment. The Willows indeed would have been an ideal place to be, I was prior to our health disaster dreaming the dream of a 90 year of grandfather to go there and have a good time with my grandkids and trout fishing in the area which I also had to cancel, looking at the clips of last years success. The other good effect is that never I will rent a VRBO or other company-mediated property again, because in our age we never know, ultimately having to pay in vanity. Finally, your cleaning crew (CC) was outstanding, it did save itself from work and rather should have gotten an extra bonus. I am sure, VRBO was hung with paying the CC even though they did not work.

Wonderful In Every Way!

The house is conveniently located, close to grocery, restaurants, shopping, highway. It was well furnished and very clean. The view is great and the beds are very comfortable and the heating/air conditioning work well together with ceiling fans. There was good space for everyone and the game room was enjoyed.

New Years Get away

The house was very nice! We had a great time. A couple of issues, trash cans were overflowing outside from previous renters. Communicated with company they took care of it immediately. Renters before us apparently had a dog. Hair was all over the furniture. Lastly, the spigot in main bathroom shower was a bit difficult, could not regulate cold or hot water. Needed to be adjusted. Overall our stay was very nice, we would definitely rent again.
