Such a great location in West Bay. Perfect for scuba diving or any tropical vacation. Complex is waterfront. Ed, the owner, was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Wonderful neighbors in the complex that were so helpful with recommendations and welcoming. The condo is quiet, well supplied, clean, large, and perfect for visiting the Cayman Islands. What a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely return and recommend to all our friends! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home in the Cayman Islands!

Overall, our stay at Diver’s Delight was exactly as the listing promised. Compared to other options on the island, Ed’s place had enough rooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate our family of five (without spending a gazillion dollars!), which made a big difference.Highlights:- The location was perfect. Far enough from the central tourist areas to feel peaceful, yet still very close to beautiful beaches, grocery stores, and restaurants.- The property itself was quiet. I had been concerned about potential noise from the pool, but the condo is next to the smaller, quieter pool. Other residents/guests are respectful of noise.- Communication with Ed was easy, and he shared a lot of helpful tips for the area, which we really appreciated.- Plenty of beach towels and bedding were provided.- Access to a reef right in front of the property was a huge bonus (although hard to snorkel if wavy conditions).- Having 3.5 bathrooms was clutch for our group.The only minor drawbacks were that the property is a bit dated (as reflected in the photos), and the kitchen is quite sparsely stocked - there are no basic items like oil or seasonings, so plan accordingly if you intend to cook.Overall, a great stay and a property that delivers exactly what it promises.

Relaxing pace

We enjoyed our stay at this 3 story condo. We spent time by and in the pool right outside the back door. We cooked meals and even grilled one night. The sunset views at the back of Coconut Bay are spectacular. It was nice to be walking distance from an excellent restaurant. There are plenty of towels and pool floats. For a couple of minor issues, the onsite property manager dealt with them promptly.

Thanksgiving dive trip

Perfect place to stay. We dove with In Depth divers as the property dive person was out of town. He put us in touch with In Depth which is next door. We had an amazing trip. Condo was easy to find and access. Easy drive to pier for meeting dive boat. Cracked conch and Macado just a quick walk away. Lots of construction around but didn't interfere with our trip at all. Good size condo for our family with all needs met with kitchen supplies. Would definitely stay here again.

A Great Stay!

Had a great stay at Coconut Bay. The location is perfect
close yet just far enough away. Beautiful beach, 2 pools, great access for snorkeling/diving. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants and tiki bar. The property manager and security are so welcoming. The condo is spacious and full of natural light. Our host could not have been more accommodating. Hope to return soon!!

4th Stay at Coconut Bay

This was our fourth stay at Coconut Bay (CB) and third in this unit, which means we like it here. There's excellent shore diving at CB with several other shore diving spots nearby. Great location for turtles. Duncan the property manager keeps fresh tanks ready and other gear that is needed. The unit is a good size for 4 adults with plenty of room, nicely decorated and well maintained. The owner was very responsive and provided a detailed summary of helpful info for the condo and navigating the island, with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Our family are animal lovers so we enjoyed the visits from the friendly CB "house" cat that we named "Callie". Nearby Macabuca (very short walk) is a great place to combine diving with good food, beverages, and open-air casual atmosphere. Also a good spot for a night dive. Vivo is another great nearby restaurant with an interesting menu, which my vegan wife loves. There is also a dive shop next door to combine diving and eating. Vivo and Macabuca are both great places to unwind at the end of a day and watch the sunset. One notable observation is the abundance of new construction in the area, which is making CB and the surrounding northwestern area of the island less "out of the way" than when we first dove this area back in 2016. But this is still one of our favorite dive vacation spots and we will return.

Comfortable and a great location

The condo was nice, and the location was great next to the Macabuca Tiki Bar (awesome location) and In-Depth dive shop. You can also walk to the turtle and dolphin center. The pool was nice but warm water in early August. Did not dive at Condo due to currents. Good location with car as close to 7-mile beach.

Comfortable, clean, safe property

Family and friends spent a week at Coconut Bay Condo 101. There were five in our group, but the condo had beds and room for a larger group. The kitchen had all the essential cooking utensils, pots, pans, and dinnerware. The property is attractively landscaped, clean, and well maintained. The pool in our section of the property was also clean and had the perfect water temperature (in my opinion). Everyone in our group was a diver, so the dunk tank and outdoor showers were appreciated. There was sufficient area on the patio at the condo for hanging dive gear to dry. The night watchman, Velanda, is very friendly and we felt very safe with him on the property. We had only two suggestions for improvement of the property: 1) Some way to hang gear (hooks? rails?) in the area next to the dunk tank. We had to place our newly rinsed gear on top of the air tanks in order to let them drip/drain until we'd finished rinsing all our gear. 2) Having a ceiling fan in the patio area would help with circulation for the patio and might help blow some of the mosquitos away. (There were lots of mosquitos on the patio both early in the morning and in the evening.)

Stay during storm

We came to dive and were able to the first 2 days, as well as the last day. The diving is top notch! We stayed during the Nor’easter in February. The storm came half-way through our stay. Ed was a great host and checked in us. As well as addressing any concerns we had. We hope the Cracked Conch and Macabucas are back up and running quickly.

I love Coconut Bay!

Ed is a great host. Property manger, Duncan, is the best. We loved the end unit with all the light from the windows. Unit was plenty big for 4 adults and had everything we needed. Grounds are very nice. Always enjoy going to watch the sunsets every night. We’ll be back.

Love Coconut Bay

We’ve stayed at various properties in Coconut Bay over the years and you can’t beat it. Love the West Bay Area— convenient to restaurants but quieter than Seven Mike Beach. Love the complex with the pools, the beach diving access and access to Macabuca. The condo is roomy with lots of space for a family to comfortably stay. The kitchen amenities were solid for simple meals. There were some pool floats available and beach towels. I also appreciate having the back porch to dry gear and laundry to enable lighter packing. Checkin and out were easy. We look forward to return vacations to Coconut Bay!
