Relaxing Retreat in the Heart of Dover

This gracious ski lodge home, presented by StayBettr Vacation Rentals, is in the heart of Dover minutes from Mount Snow. The main level has multiple living areas and two fireplaces so your group can spread out. The recreation room has multiple walls of windows and opens up to the hot tub. The massive open concept kitchen is a natural gathering place after you've hit the slopes or hiked nearby.

You can reach the Mount Snow in 5 minutes by car or you can take the free MOOver shuttle to the mountain. The shuttle station is a 1100 foot walk from the house.  For those looking to experience multiple ski mountains during your stay:

• Mount Snow: 3.5 miles/5 minute drive. Free shuttle connection 1100 foot walk.
• Prospect Mountain:  20 miles/27 minute drive. Free shuttle connection 1100 foot walk.
• Stratton Mountain: 18 miles/27 minute drive.
• Magic Mountain: 31 Miles/43 minute drive.

The Neighborhood:

Dover is a quaint village in the heart of the Deerfield Valley. You'll feel removed from the city, but can walk to restaurants and ski outfitters. Groceries can be picked about 15 minutes in Wilmington. National retail chains are available about 45 minutes away in either Bennington or Brattleboro. There are year round activities in the area. A rail trail runs in front of the home, and Harriman Reservoir is about 15 minutes away. During the summer golfing is available at the Mount Snow Golf Club.

Getting Around:

While MOOver shuttles are available, we recommend at least some of your group have access to a car for your stay. Rental car services are available in Bennington and Brattleboro. Several bus services are available from New York City and Boston during ski season.

The closest Amtrak service is the Vermonter in Brattleboro. It is possible to make multiple MOOver shuttles from Brattleboro to the house, we recommend a taxi/Lyft or renting a car. There are also bus services that connect to the Amtrak Station in Albany.

Things To Know:

You will be required to sign a rental agreement after the booking is confirmed. Full terms of the agreement are available on request. Additionally, you will be required to upload an approved government identification card or passport when you complete the rental agreement. If you have questions about either of these requirements please message us prior to booking.
