Great Location just steps away from the private ski home trail.

3-level townhouse (all above ground), renovated END Unit at coveted Bears Crossing Community. Sleeps 8.

Moose House is a 3-level townhouse with 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft with 3 beds, a blowup mattress, Pack'nPlay and 2 full baths. Condo is steps away from the trail. Free shuttle is available on winter weekends (Sat-Sun) and during holiday weeks. Ski home trail is subject to snow conditions.

Wood burning fireplace. Enjoy all new hardwood floors, carpeting and tiled floors, new SS appliances, sinks, faucets, RH chandelier, new bedding including some down comforters and goose down pillows, etc. Soak in the luxury of mattress toppers, plush robes and soothing ambience with a beautiful view of the woods.

Master Bedroom has a queen bed. 2nd Bedroom can be setup either as a king bed or as 2 single twin beds depending on your request.

Family friendly condo has lots of board games and toys for children and a separate TV in the loft to watch movies. Roku TV in Great Room.

Amenities include a beautiful clubhouse with a fitness center, pool table, ping pong table and TV. In the summertime you can enjoy the outdoor heated pool, pickleball court and grills. Large gas firepit outside.

All linens and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped.

Complimentary private shuttle to the mountain just 2 minutes away is available on winter weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) and holidays.

The house is fully loaded with a fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, shampoo/conditioner/soap and books for all.

Nearby is the historic town of Wilmington which has several beautiful lakes where you can go swimming, kayaking, boating or fishing. Lots of trails available in the Green Mountain National Forest for hiking and mountain biking. Beer Festivals in the summer and fall are not to be missed. And it's a beautiful place to enjoy the fall foliage too. Nearby is Stratton Ski Resort - about a 25-minute drive away.

Moose House is located in West Dover, VT in the heart of the Green Mountain National Park - 3.5 hour drive from New York City, 2.5 hour drive from Boston.

This is a NON-SMOKING condo. If you smoke inside the condo, you will be charged $300, plus the increase in cleaning fee, plus any damages.

Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

PETS
Pets are NOT allowed by the HOA. Sneaking in a pet of any kind will result in an additional charge of $250 and you will be asked to leave.

Unfortunately service animals/emotional support animals/pets cannot be accommodated anywhere on or near the property due to their direct adverse impact on the health of a member of our family. Thank you for your understanding on this.

WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE
Condo has free firewood subject to availability. DO NOT OPERATE FIREPLACE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT A FLUE AND DAMPER IS AND HAVE OPERATED INTERIOR WOOD BURNING FIREPLACES. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES. No fires on checkout day.

OCCUPANCY
Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 8. Exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy will result in us working with the booking platform and local authorities if necessary - likely a canceled reservation with no refund.

SKI-HOME TRAIL:
Private groomed trail is open subject to snow conditions as it relies mostly on natural snow. Check that ski trail is open prior to skiing on it. Ski the trail at your own risk.

DRIVEWAY / PARKING
Our HOA has a 3-car max rule. For mountain driving and uncertain conditions, we do recommend 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicles. Absolutely, no trailers or RVs permitted.

CONDITIONS / WEATHER
No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. VT is a naturally cold place and there is always the possibility of broken heat or no hot water for which we are not responsible. If snow or cold temperatures are in the forecast, please come prepared with enough food should adverse weather cause challenges getting to / leaving our home.

-During the winter season, you can expect snowy conditions, icy roads, and occasional snowstorms. An All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicle is required to book this property. Please exercise extra caution when driving and ensure your vehicle is adequately prepared for snowy conditions.

-Please be aware that inclement weather may lead to power outages or internet disruptions. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as power or internet loss.

-We are unable to make any exceptions from our cancellation policy. We recommend that you explore traveler's insurance as a means to safeguard your travel plans.

WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use the Moose House condo and Bears Crossing amenities and facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, fireplace, decks and appliances are done at the guests' sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the fireplace agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.

Entire Townhouse is yours to enjoy privately. Bears Crossing Clubhouse, fitness center, fire pit, and swimming pool and tennis courts (in summer only) are shared amenities with the community.

Ski Resorts ‱ Mt Snow ski resort is a 1-mile drive or The Moover is Dover’s free shuttle service (weekends and holiday weeks) that brings you directly to and from the mountain during the winter season. Additionally, there is a private ski-home trail from Mt Snow that comes to Bears Crossing. Stratton ski resort is a 25-minute drive from the house.

Hiking ‱ The Green Mountain National Forest is a great place to hike around and explore Haystack Mountain Trail. The Harriman Reservoir is a short 30-minute drive and is a great place to enjoy kayaking and lakeshore hiking.

Wonderful time. The place was great just as advertised. Easy to get to slopes via moover shuttle. We were 6 adults and all enjoyed the space. Only surprise was bathrooms were on bottom floor. But no big deal. Thanks Nancy! We hope to make this an annual weekend.

Perfect ski condo

Nancy's place was perfect for a ski weekend. A mudroom for your ski gear, a spacious living area with a fire place, and only a few minutes away from the mountain. We took the ski home trail form the mountain which was our favorite run of the day. And the exit for the trail is very close to the condo. We were also able to do some sledding on the end of the trail with some sleds Nancy had at the house. Nancy was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. There are a few things you need to do at the end of your stay.

Nancy our host was great! On point communication complete with pictures of the snow we went up for!

Clean fun condo just a couple of minutes away from Mount Snow. A few of my friends and I come up every year for St Pat Day to ride the Mt. Nancy our host went out of her way with out me even requesting pictures of the newly fallen snow to make sure I brought boots and to get excited about our day! She also gave me some recommendations to some near by food and drinks. Because the snow was so bad she reached out to one of her friends just incase we needed backup parking due everyone cleaning up the snow. We didn't have to use it but it was nice of her to have a backup plan. Communication on point! Would definitely stay there again!

Modern Cabin feel in a great location

We had a great stay. Nancy was extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. Close to Mt Snow. Shuttle picks you up at the end of the street or it’s a quick drive if you prefer. Close to markets and restaurants.
