This was my second time staying here, and I’m sure I will be staying here again. My parents live in the neighborhood and when we have lots of relatives coming down, this is the perfect place to stay for extra bedrooms. It has everything we need and we love looking out at the lake from the beautiful deck.

All was great however there was no soap or shampoo in the showers and no extra paper towels. The chairs inside and out were comfortable and we had enough room to spread out. We all had a good time.

Such a great property! The morning views of the lake from the new deck were breathtaking. Golf at Seven Lakes was fun. House is pretty close to Pinehurst, we visited the village a few times. Fantastic property and easy to book. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends. The property was perfect for a nice, relaxing, long weekend get away. The hosts were very responsive and the house was well stocked and provided everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend and we hope to come back again some time!

Respite on the lake

This is our third year staying at this wonderful location while visiting family in the area. One of our favorite things is morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs at the lake while watching the sunrise.

Excellent choice!

The house was as advertised with a great location on the lake. The swimming spots weren’t overly crowded and they were clean. The kids enjoyed going out in the kayaks/canoe and fishing off the dock. Would recommend for families looking for a lake getaway!

Great Lake house for a family gathering.

Great place for a getaway with your family and/or friends. Peaceful lake life. Lake is amazing for kayaking swimming or just relaxing. House was great. Check in easy. Host was very responsive to all our questions. I highly recommend!

Great Lake Getaway

We loved our stay at Black Lab Lodge, especially the beautiful deck and the dock! Having access to the canoe and kayaks was also very nice. This was the perfect home-base for a golf and shopping weekend with two teenagers!

Family reunion/ memorial service

My siblings and significant others gathered at the cabin for the weekend. All of us had stayed there before, as our sister lives nearby. As always, we find it clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The new deck was a great addition and we took full advantage of it! We are grateful to have such a lovely place.

Seven Lakes

This is the only property inside Seven Lakes. The house is dated with dark wood and paneling. The kitchen is VERY small and dated! The deck and dock and lake location is very nice. We provided feedback to the hosts. The hosts were very responsive.

Relaxing lakeside getaway

Long weekend visiting extended family in NC. We thoroughly enjoyed this property especially the ample outdoor space. Morning coffee on the porch as the sun rose, paddling around the lake during the day, relaxing evenings... a great stay. The house is older but was meticulously clean. Would stay again.

Lovely Lake Get-Away

We spent the weekend at the Black Lab Lodge and felt like we stepped away into nature. The house was lovely and well appointed, the deck and dock were welcoming and relaxing, and the lake view couldn’t be beat. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Pinehurst Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at the property during our recent trip to Pinehurst. The location is convenient to many area golf courses, including the Pinehurst resort. The setting along the lake and the nice deck and patio were perfect spots for morning coffee, cookouts on the grill, and hanging out after several long days at the golf course. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and wished we had more time to do some swimming and fishing as well. The house was clean, with comfortable beds and everything that you need for a week at the lake.

Amazing comfort

Great, clean rental. Easy access, close to grocery store. On our last night, a pontoon pulled into our cove, stopped his motor and began serenading us on the porch. It was beautiful. Only two thing’s I would change is: put some type of curtains up on the lake side patio. Doors AND , spread on king downstairs should go away. It’s like sleeping with wax paper. Always making a cricking crunchy sound.
