Wir machen Ihren Urlaub besonders. Von dem Moment an, wenn Sie durch die VordertĂŒr unseres Obergeschosses mit 2 Schlafzimmern mit zentraler Klimaanlage kommen, bietet das Wohnzimmer 2 Sofa-Liegen zum Entspannen, aber die KĂŒche ist mit einem elektrischen Kochfeld und einem Wandofen ausgestattet. Im privaten Garten finden Sie einen Weber Gasgrill und eine Außendusche mit warmem und kaltem Wasser zu finden, wenn der RĂŒckkehr vom Strand, so dass alle der Sand kann draußen gelassen werden. Es gibt eine Terrasse mit Tisch und StĂŒhlen. Und wenn es Zeit ist, nennen es eine Nacht gibt es Doppelbetten in jedem der Zimmer. Sie können mit Ben oder Stacy fĂŒr eine Empfehlung fĂŒr ein gutes Essen in Harwich, oder ob der Harwich JR Theater lohnt sich, zu sprechen. Beide lieben zu helfen, Urlaub Familien das Beste aus ihrem Urlaub zu machen und Ben hat am Cape leben seit 35 Jahren. Wir wissen, das Kap auf Old Cape Cod worden Urlaub seit 1957, als Jodi Pizza und die Go-Karts zuerst geöffnet, und der alte Lagerplatz war das in Ort, um mit all den Teenagern zu mieten, zusammen mit Thompson Clam Bar.

KapitĂ€n Alexanders Haus ist nur 3/10 von einer Meile um den warmen GewĂ€ssern des Nantucket Sound und Harwich StrĂ€nde. Unsere beiden Schlafzimmer-Haus ist voll klimatisiert. Denken Sie daran, Queen-Size-Blatt fĂŒr die Schlafzimmer zusammen mit Ihrem eigenen KĂŒche, Bad und BadetĂŒcher brig. Wir können sie fĂŒr eine zusĂ€tzliche $ 75 pro Aufenthalt zu Gunsten der Verwaltungs bei der Ankunft zur VerfĂŒgung.

Unsere Nichtraucher klimatisierten Haus hat alle Zutaten fĂŒr einen super Urlaub auf Cape Cod. KapitĂ€n Alexanders Hideaway ist nicht fĂŒr Raucher, da es keine Rauchen auf dem GrundstĂŒck .. Eine vollstĂ€ndige WaschkĂŒche mit Frontlader Waschmaschine. Wir sind auch nur wenige Gehminuten von Earle Street Beach und nur eine Meile zu Harwichport.

GĂŒnstig gelegen auf halbem Weg zwischen Cape Cod Canal und Provincetown, Captain Alexander befindet sich zentral zu allen Cape zu bieten hat. Eine kurze Radtour zum Cape Cod Rail Trail (Radweg durch die StĂ€dte Cape Cod), 2. 5 Meilen zu Long Pond (Cape Cod grĂ¶ĂŸte Schwimmen und Bootfahren See), 1. 5 Meilen zu preisgekrönten Cranberry Valley Golf Course, Zentral Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Hauptverkehrsstraße, Theater, (Harwich JR. Clean, Well Equipped, Great Location

We enjoyed our stay here! The owners thought of everything and have maintained a very clean place. The keypad door code made it easy to check in and check out. Washer and dryer were very useful to have. The following were well equipped and had everything we needed, and more! - 1) kitchen 2) beach related items 3) bbq related items 4) information on what to do and where to eat, and more! And those reclining couches and massage chair in the living room were a hit with everyone! The beach is a 5 min walk along a shaded road. There's a convenient outdoor shower in the yard to wash off sandy feet before entering the house. The house is near the charming Harwich town with a great variety of restaurants, shops and cafes along Main Street. (J Bar for healthy salads & smoothies, Perks for late night drinks, Embre Coal Fire Pizza, Cape Roots Market & Cafe (they serve Snowy Owl coffee!) AND Sweet Izzy's (a stone's throw away) has really delicious ice cream! We highly recommend this place, and would return to stay!

Wonderful Place

The Crow's Nest was perfect for our 4 night stay. It was spotless and exceeded our expectations in terms of size and comfort. Loved the massage chair, reclining sofa and chair! It had everything we needed including a washer dryer. The neighborhood was beautiful and well situated to access anything we needed or where we wanted to go. The beach down the street was super easy to get to and perfect for our needs. Gerry and Ruth were wonderful hosts. Very easy to contact and quick to respond. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay on the Cape.

Great location

Apartment is clean and an easy walk to a very pleasant beach. The place has everything you need for the week. Owner is very much on site, and you will see him often, daily. When I first checked in, the air was not working and I was told it was because the windows had been left open, the sun was coming hot and I had to shut the windows down and wait 24 hours for the air to reset. This was day # 3 of the heatwave. Perhaps the AC could have been set for my arrival. One afternoon I went down the back stairs to the "private area" attached to the apartment, to get in the outside shower and the owner was there. He was removing the water bottles from the recycling bin and putting them in the trash. I wasn't sure why he was in the Private back yard while I was there. The place is clean and tidy, Gerald and his wife are nice people, however, they should respect the privacy of the guests that are staying.

Clean and Comfy Crow's Nest

The Crow's Nest is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Beautiful little neighborhood. Everything you need in the kitchen. Central air which is fabulous and comfortable beds. Huge flat-screen TV which the kids used mostly at night after being at the beach all day. Easy walking distance to the beach which my teenager was able to walk to in the early morning. Easy access to other parts of the Cape. Hosts graciously greeted us on arrival and answered any questions we may have had. Totally recommend this property to anyone heading to the Cape.

Great place to stay. It was immaculate when we got there. The rooms were big and the living room was very comfortable. We were so close to the beach you could walk, and so many restaurants. It was just a great vacation and Jerry and Ruth could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I would go back any day.

Perfect spot for a fantastic vacation

We have stayed in the area before and knew it was a great location. It's close to great bakeries like Captain Baker's Donuts & Woolfies and restaurants like Brax landing, 3 Monkeys & Buca. We usually hit up Joey's for pizza. I wanted a place w/ kitchen space for potential meals due to COVID, 2 bedrooms for me & my 2 kids, and close to the beach. This place ticked all the boxes we were after (well except for a pool, but that was my kids "must have" not mine!) The beach at the end of Earle Rd. is small, but was perfect for us as it was a short 5 min walk and thus we didn't have to pay for parking. We lucked out w/ weather and were at beach daily, even the last day that was cooler, we went for s'mores & sunset. The outdoor shower was nice to rise off and back stair storage area had a spot for storing beach gear. There was some left by previous tenants, but we had brought our own. Gerry & Ruth happened to be staying downstairs during our stay, they were very nice when our paths crossed, which honestly wasn't that often. We opted to bring our own linens and pillows.The beds were surprisingly comfortable, the 2 twins my kids slept on had apparently been recently purchased. The bathroom is a little small, but has everything you need. The water pressure wasn't great, but the shower head has different settings, so we flipped it to stronger one. The kitchen is definitely a 1 cook kitchen. There is plenty of space in living room including a massage chair (big hit w/ kids) & a big 70in TV (it was never on during our stay). It really was the perfect vacation, we will definitely be back in the future!

Great location

It's in a great location--lots to do and see. Right down the street from the beach. We brought our dog, and there is a public park about a mile away --Sea View Park--which has walking trails and a playground and tennis courts. Lots of shopping, restaurants, everything close by. Lovely area. The property was very clean. It is an apartment, so you will be hearing other people on property. Also has a small yard which is nice. There was major construction going on when we were there, but when they didn't show up it was very nice.

Horrible experience!

Our time staying in the property was from 7/24 to 7/27. When we arrived and parked, a lady approached us really quickly and said that they were in middle of construction therefore we would have to park in the back of the property, which it was okay, When we arrived we were coming from the beach, 2 of us took a quick shower, less than 5 minutes each and we did not have anymore hot water
 we did not say anything at that moment, just waited a few hours and the other 2 people took their showers. The next morning we did not think of it since some of us took a shower in the morning and the rest in the afternoon. Monday came and the construction workers woke us up at 8:00am not so good since we are on vacation and would love to sleep a little longer. We went to the beach that day, (the beach is 3 blocks away, so we walked there) we saw Gerry when leaving, once we are at the beach I realized I needed something we forgot in the house, so I walked back, when I get back to the property, I noticed the doors were open(I remember I locked up before going to the beach, When I went inside (Gerry) the owner was coming out of one of the bedrooms. He said he needed to update something in the binder that was in the living room. I did let him know that I was very uncomfortable with the whole situation. When I said that he asked me for the remote control and said that everything was a mess (my sons toys were on the floor) laundry was folded on the couch and one of the beds was not made, regardless that was my problem since I’m on vacation I don’t have to make the bed if I dont want to. But finding him in the property felt as a complete VIOLATION OF PRIVACY. When I asked why he was coming out of one of the bedrooms if he needed the binder that was on the living room,he apologized and left. Of course that ruined our day. When we came back that day again we had no more than 10 minutes of hot water and I had to take a shower with cold water I sent him a message and about an hour later he responded that he will turn up the water heaterfor next morning, Really?? I feel we paid a lot money for a 3 day get away for this poor service and most of all the VIOLATION of our PRiVaCY. When we left I made sure to leave the place spotless.

Great Location, Place

Location is spectacular, just minutes away from the beach, restaurants, and the center of town. Hosts were very communicative and were readily available for anything we needed. The only thing holding it back from 4/5 stars was the home improvements going on during our stay for the other unit. Would highly recommend and we plan on giving it another go next year.

Great stay at the Crow's Nest!

We had a great stay at the Crow's Nest this weekend with my family (two adults, two kids). Jerry's communication up to and during our stay was top-notch, with lots of great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The location can't be beat—walking distance to Earle Road beach and less than 2 miles from Harwichport and the cute shops (and ice cream at Sundae School). Central air and a massage chair were new improvements since our last stay in 2019. My only "complaint" was that there isn't a lot of counter space in the kitchen for cooking at the house, but that just gave us more of an excuse to eat out. Thanks for a great stay!

Exactly what we needed

Captain Alexander’s was clean and roomy enough for our family of 4 and a dog. The owners were accommodating and communicative. We’ve stayed in Harwich a few times before, and can assure you this location was great: just a mile from town, near supermarket, ice cream and liquor store, and a true 5 minute stroll to either Earle’s Road Beach or Grey Neck Beach, which really comes in handy when the parking lots are full. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

This rental was great. Checking in and out was easy. Gerry was very nice, accommodating, and even left us a goodie bag and welcome card upon arrival. I think when we originally searched this property it was under the “house” category so I do think the description should be more clear that it’s actually an apartment, not a house. However it was a non issue for us because the place was in a great location and we never heard our neighbors once. The apartment was clean although there was a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen. Not a big deal though, just don’t leave any food sitting out in there. We spent most of our time outside anyway. The property is a 5 minute walk to a very nice beach which was never really crowded at all. There are tons of restaurants and activities to do while you’re here. We spent most of our time at the beach but Gerry made great restaurant and activity suggestions so we didn’t really have to think too hard about where to go. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you Gerry!
