Explore the scenic coastline of Westgate on Sea & Margate. Bayside House boasts magnificent sea views from room after room. The lounge has a cosy wood burner that takes the chill off winter walks. A fully equipped kitchen is ideal for those who like to cook, and the separate dining room has comfortable seating for a meal, playing board games, or setting up the laptop.

Bayside House is a charming & special home, step through the front door and you can see the sea straight through the centre of the home. The lounge, the kitchen and two bedrooms have breathtaking sea views. The private courtyard garden has a lovely seaview over the field.
Curated by the owners, the style is European, beachside, comfortable and homely. The log burner in the sitting room adds that extra level of winter cosiness that only a real fire can bring.
*Kitchen*
Fully equipped with a gas hob, 2 x ovens, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettle and plentiful good quality crockery & glasses. The owner's have truly thought of everything & provide basic supplies for cooking meals (oils/herbs/flour). Whilst rustling up supper you can look across the garden and see the sea.
*Sitting Room/Lounge/TV room*
Gorgeous sumptuous sofa and chairs provide a relaxed sitting area where you can kick back and watch a film, read a book or chat through your day. Plenty of room for 6 people but cosy enough for 2. The enormous bay window looks out to the sea.
For those winter days, or slightly chilly summer nights we have the log burner. Easy to light and instantly brings heat and cosiness to snuggle down into.
*Dining Room*
A lovely bright room which overlooks the front garden, a table and chairs to seat up to 6 people.
We offer dine-in options for your whole party - from a relaxed BBQ to a 3-course dinner. Message your host for more details.

A well proportioned room, with another comfortable king size bed (140cm), with a desk and TV and plenty of storage.
*Bedroom 3 - SINGLE*
Decorated with warming colours, a delightful cosy single bedroom.
SECOND FLOOR
*Bedroom 4 - SINGLE*
On the top floor of the house (up the narrow stairs) is a delightful room which boasts a seaview. It has a single bed, plenty of storage and a full size basin. Please note as this is on the top floor we believe it is only suitable for children age 7 years +
GARDENS
The property has two private enclosed and furnished gardens, one with sea views.
Make the most of the enclosed front garden (laid to shingle) with its sunny seating area, or
head to the enclosed back courtyard garden for alfresco dining and gorgeous
sea views.
We have a shed in the rear garden with a few beach things which you are welcome to use. We also keep the garden loungers and seat cushions in this space - please make sure you put them back in the shed after use.
The field to the rear of the property is private and not part of the rental.
Full & private access to the front and rear gardens of the house. On the top floor there is a locked room for the owner's private use.
We have the local team of Rachel and Spencer from Key Retreats Limited looking after our home and our guests. They are available should you need support.
Children - we welcome families but recommend that the top floor bedroom is only suitable for children age 7 years plus. We don't provide any cots + highchairs + stairgates.
Dogs - we are dog-friendly and welcome a maximum of two well behaved,quiet dogs per booking. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round! May to September: before 10am and after 6pm. October to April: any time.
Children - we welcome families but recommend that the top floor bedroom is only suitable for children age 7 years plus. We don't provide any cots + highchairs + stairgates.
The house is Edwardian (anno 1912) and has two flights of stairs and painted. Please take care on the stairs and be aware of this if booking for elderly/infirm people or young children.
The cleaning fee includes cleaning & laundry of white bed linen, bath & hand towels + tea towels.
We provide a well equipped home, although the following items you may like to consider packing as they are not included:

- Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them
- Please respect the neighbours and be mindful of noise in the garden in the evenings.

- Please use the table mats and coasters to protect the furniture
- When leaving the property please make sure you lock the door and all the windows
-No Parties no events
- A maximum of 2 well-behaved, quiet dogs are welcomed. Please message me in advance with
the details of your pet (type/breed/age). Please do not leave the pet unattended at the property or allow pet on the furniture. All pet excrement is to be disposed of before check out.
