Originally built in the 1930s as a small tavern and slowly expanded, this two-story cabin plus loft has everything you need to experience a truly memorable stay with your family and friends! The cabin rooms were once a dance hall - the floors of the cabin rooms are the original floors!

You will fall in love with The Logs' location - you are just a couple hundred yards away from the White Salmon River, which means you can walk straight down to the river, or take another path and walk along the White Salmon to BZ Falls. Conveniently located at the base of Mount Hood in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, outdoor enthusiasts will have a blast here! Windsurfing, kiteboarding, hiking, skiing, and kayaking are popular activities in the area. Make sure to explore Hood River (14.5 miles away), which is full of wineries, breweries, and outdoor activities for everyone. Visit the famous Hood River Fruit Loops Art Center (13.5 miles) with over 36 stands featuring apples, pears, wines, antiques, and various other locally grown products.

This well-appointed cabin enjoys a welcoming living area that will be perfect to spread out and relax after an entertaining day exploring the area. Curl up on the inviting sectional and watch a favorite movie on the TV equipped with a DVD player. A space heater will keep you nice and warm during your stay. A beautiful desk with direct views of the courtyard has been provided. Fix yourself a steamy cup of coffee using the provided coffee maker and keep your snacks and goodies nice and fresh in the mini-fridge. You can also find a convenient microwave to heat everything. The first floor also features a nice bedroom and a full bathroom, while the lofted area upstairs enjoys a nice private sleeping nook.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is no kitchen. Only a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker are provided. It is stocked with coffee cups, coffee, coffee creamer, and coffee filters.
While doing your research, you may see that there was once a restaurant on the property where your unit is. However, it is closed and not listed as an amenity. Your rental offers lodging and no on-site- restaurant, though grocery stores in the area are only a short drive away.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Security camera details: Surveillance cameras on the property near the courtyard and entrance of the restaurant. All camera facing outward, away from the property.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
