Ashberry Cabin - Windermere

The private hot tub, community beach on the shores of Windermere Lake and central location to Invermere, Panorama Resort, Radium and Fairmont Hot Springs make it a perfect basecamp for valley adventures – whether a winter ski trip or summer lake escape! Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck listening to the birds and watching the local wildlife.

Comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests, there are 5 cozy bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with luxury linens and guest comfort in mind; there are 2 king beds, 2 queens, 2 twins, a bunk bed, plus a futon in the den - each room a peaceful haven after a day of exploring. The master bedroom and den are located on the main floor, the 4 additional bedrooms are located on the lower level.

We understand traveling with kids! That's why our space is equipped with a cot, playpen, highchair and baby gates. The littles will love the assortment of toys, engaging books, and family-friendly games, including a Wii console for a bit of indoor fun in the lower level family room.

The heart of the home is the inviting living area, featuring a large screen TV with cable TV and streaming, books and games. The living area is open plan to the dining table, breakfast bar and fully equipped kitchen - complete with a coffee station to kick start your day. Outside the kitchen window is a stunning Mountain Ash tree - its abundance of berries welcomes lots of birds and provides the inspiration for our cabin name.

Patio doors lead onto a large upper deck with lots of seating for soaking in your surroundings and local wildlife over morning coffee, or perhaps an afternoon cocktail. Grill your favourite meals on the private BBQ.

The lower level features a second, large family room with TV, games and a walk out patio to the private hot tub and yard - the quiet neighbourhood provides a tranquil backdrop to your stay.

Explore the nature trails to the community beach - about a 15 min walk away, a stunning place to play in the summer with warm water ideal for swimming or in winter with hockey rinks and direct access to the Whiteway - the worlds longest skating trail! In addition to the private beach, there is a kids playground and open playing fields along with tennis, basketball and pickleball courts.
