Welcome to Steps Cottage – A Stylish Retreat centrally located in between Windermere and Bowness, only a short walk to either village. One well-trained dog is welcome at this property for an additional charge. Dogs visiting the property should be kept off all furniture and never left unattended. We also kindly ask that you make sure that you pick up after you dog also, thank you.

As you step through the front door you are greeted by a modern, well equipped shaker style kitchen. Whether you`re preparing a hearty breakfast before heading out or winding down with a brew in the evening, the kitchen is well-equipped for every occasion. You`ll find a dishwasher and washer/dryer for added ease, and we`ve stocked the basics—tea, coffee, salt, pepper, and cooking oil—so you can settle in straight away.

The cosy lounge has comfortable seating, log burner (logs not supplied), dining area and a smart TV for watching your favourite channels (own login required).

The cosy double bedroom features a built-in wardrobe, and a handy dressing table, creating a peaceful space to rest and recharge.

The modern bathroom includes a shower, basin, wc and heated towel rail with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. We also provide both a hand and bath towel for each guest.

Stay connected with Wi-Fi throughout the cottage, perfect for checking emails or streaming your favourite series.

Outside the cottage there is a lovely garden (up a couple of steps) and a two patio areas with table and chairs - ideal to enjoy a glass of something after a busy day exploring.

When it`s time for some fresh air, you`re in the right spot—Brant Fell Walk and Biskey Howe Viewpoint are just around the corner for scenic strolls. And if a lakeside moment is calling, Miller Ground on Lake Windermere is only a short walk away—perfect for a dip, picnic, or even a laid-back BBQ.

There is a designated parking space in front of the cottage clearly marked with a sign for Steps Cottage. EV charger on-site (PAYG by App).

While our friendly team at Laik won`t be present physically for your check-in, we operate a seamless self check-in process to give you privacy and convenience.
